This property is the perfect place to relax and has wineries, breweries, distilleries, museums and little shops and anything else you might want within 20 miles . This is our 2nd stay and will definitely be booking it again for our trip next year .

This is the cutest cottage with lots of room and beautiful views right on the lake. The upstairs bedroom with balcony had lots of windows and was so cozy. Absolutely perfect!!

Excellent all-around. The cottage was super-clean, in a quiet neighborhood, beautiful grassy yard to the lake, and had everything we needed. Upstairs master bedroom overlooking the lake was amazing.We had some last minute changes that came up and the owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended - would stay again!

Cute cabin

We had such a fun stay at this cute, cozy cottage. It was conveniently located near a dollar store to grab a few extra things we forgot. It’s also about 10 minutes from some great wineries and distilleries. Would absolutely stay again!

A lovely fall weekend

Our group of 4 retired school nurses spent a happy 2 nights here. The cottage is nicely decorated and has everything needed. We enjoyed looking out on the water from the Adirondack chairs and visiting Hammondsport, Penn Yan and other local places. Would rent again :)

Beautiful getaway

This lovely home was perfect for us as we spent time together exploring the beautiful fingerlakes area. My husband and I appreciated the cozy 1st floor bedroom, and our daughter enjoyed the 2nd floor bedroom with bathroom and cute little balcony. The firepit was accessible by a short walk down a slight slope to the waters edge, and the sunsets were amazing. We loved staying here, thanks for sharing it with us!

Awesome views of the lake.

Unfortunately my wife and I were at different stages of a nasty cold therefore our usual round of wine tastings were put off. The cottage was the perfect spot to sit back and relax while recovering (hopefully ). We did manage to eat at a couple of our favorite restaurants in Hammondsport and Watkins Glen.

Are you looking for a peaceful, retreat to unwind? This is it! The gorgeous view of Waneta Lake over morning coffee and evening sunsets were beautiful! The location was perfect because you were close to both Keuka & Seneca Lakes for wine enthusiasts! The house was cozy and had all the comforts of home. Looking forward to coming back!

Serenity on a lake

Cheryl’s cottage is charming with gorgeous views of the lake! Everything inside is just as charming. Sitting by the fire and watching the picture perfect sunset will be a great memory. We all enjoyed the back deck watching boats drive by. The cottage is clean, cozy, and all the beds were so comfortable! Every night was a peaceful sleep - Thank you!

The place is just as pictured, very nice place! The view from the balcony was great. Sitting by the water was so peaceful. Being early in the season, hardly any neighbors were around, so it was very quiet.The sunsets were beautiful.Bed was very comfortable.Watkins Glen, Corning and Penn Yan were all easy to get to. And Hammondsport was just a short drive away.Communication with Cheryl was great couldn’t ask for better. She answered all the questions we had.It was the perfect on-the-water getaway for us!

I would not book it again.

The only thing that I would change its the fact that you will be asked to hand wash, dry and place all dishes in the cabinets, it might just feel a lot if you stay more days. Bring disposables.

Lakeside relaxation

The property was perfectly located and had the necessary amenities. The view is spectacular. The host were prompt and friendly. The only downside is no water vehicles like the house next to us had kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe. So no way on water unless you bring your own. There is rentals nearby which we ended up renting a kayak. Also no closet space. Couldnt hang up clothes.

Thank you for the nice review! There is a wardrobe upstairs and a closet in downstairs bedroom. The owner's next door use the watercraft for their own enjoyment. You can rent as stated right up the road!
