Delightful villa in the Eastern Algarve set in it's own garden, with private salt water pool (no chlorine in the water), just a few minutes' walk from the beach and the village of Cabanas. Six splendid golf courses are also just a few kilometres away .

In the village of Cabanas you can find excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and all you might need.

The villa is fully equipped and very comfortable. The ground floor comprises a large living-dining room which leads via two large patio doors to two large terraces one of which overlooks the private swimming pool set in a lawn garden with a BBQ. The terraces have sofas and dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Algarve evenings. Also on the ground floor there are two large twin bedrooms, one bathroom and a completely equipped kitchen.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a terrace/solarium overlooking the garden and pool.

The Eastern Algarve is considered to be the most picturesque part in the Algarve. The Ria Formosa Natural Park is host to a large migratory bird population and is just a few minutes walk from the villa. The Portuguese town of Tavira only about ten minutes by car is known as the most beautiful town in the Algarve and recommended for its historical past, Castle, Roman architecture and 37 churches. Throughout the year there are music events and festivals and many more activities across the whole Summer. Tavira also has a fabulous daily market where you can buy fish straight off the boats and meat, fruit and vegetables from the local farmers.

Tavira's coast is integrated in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, a protected area which is characterized by having a high biological productivity and diversity of habitats. Tavira has a coastline measuring over 18 km long, comprising the islands of Tavira and Cabanas, which are part of the Ria Formosa barrier islands' system. Cabanas' island is the smallest of the islands within the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is 70 meters wide and 7 km long (variable figures). This golden beach, full of shells and a warm turquoise sea is located in front of Cabanas' village, land of fishermen. Cabanas beach has been distinguished with the Blue Flag Award since 1989 and it has equipment and infrastructure services available to visitors. To get there you take a fishermen's boat across the Ria Formosa for a few minutes. There are other magnificent beaches nearby, all easily accessible by car.

Cabanas is 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and only 30 minutes drive to the Spanish border. So, if you wish you may easily take a day trip to Spain whilst you are there. In Cabanas you will experience a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings in an authentic Portugal!. An ideal place for sun, beach, golf and fish lovers!

Fabulous villa in a great location
We liked everything about this spacious villa but especially the large pool, well equipped outside area and that it is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Cabanas village. The villa and grounds are very clean, well maintained and both the kitchen and lounge areas have everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. For a small area Cabanas has a surprisingly high number of restaurants and bars to try, our favourites were Monteiro, Sabores Asiaticos and Coral although all the others we visited were also good. Murphy's bar is a must for anyone wanting to watch sport on tv. A hire car enabled us to visit some of the surrounding towns including Tavira, VRS Antonio & Castro Marim as well as some of the nearby beaches, all worthwhile experiences. Thanks Margarida and Teresa for helping to provide a well organised, stress free, relaxing holiday.

Lovely relaxing holiday
We had a wonderful peaceful stay at this lovely well equipped villa which is set in large mature gardens. Perfect for our needs and just a 5 minute stroll from Cabanas water front and restaurants, bars and local Spar. Good communication with the owner Teresa and Margarida who meets and greets was lovely. Would definitely recommend staying at this villa and look forward to returning next year.

Wonderful villa
We have just returned from yet another fantastic stay at Coco Loco. The villa is really spacious, well maintained and just a joy to stay in. Both the internal and the large pool and gardens are extremely well maintained. Margarida, who is the contact locally is wonderful. The outside maintenance is early morning and discreet. The villa is only a short walk into Cabanas with restaurants,shops etc. Also, a short water taxi takes you over to the island which has a beautiful beach. Nearby Tavira is well worth a visit. This was our 3rd visit to Coco Loco and will certainly return. Teresa, the owner, is so easy to get in touch with and has always been very helpful. The only disappointment we have is our preferred dates for next year are unavailable!! Thanks again Teresa Gwen & Derek K

Fantastic property, beautiful location
The villa had everything you would hope for and more. All the arrangement were straightforward and the villa was spotless. The accommodation is well furnished and equipped including a brick BBQ which is perfectly located for the outside eating area under the veranda. The pool was was larger than we expected. It was clean and well maintained during our visit. It was illuminated in the evenings. The villa has 6 sun-beds and lots of outside seating (3 different areas). The garden is well kept and a lovely place to relax. The villa is perfectly located for Cabanas centre (5 minutes walk) where you can catch a small motor boat across the estuary to the beach for 1.5 euros return. It tales less than 10 minutes. The beach was busy but not crowded, the sand was golden and the sea clear blue. The town of Tavira is 10 minutes drive away and is beautiful - well worth a visit. I can not recommend this villa and it's owner highly enough!'

The property was excellent the proximity was perfect 5mins walk to the main part of cabanas.
Almost perfect except one thing we arrived late after a long journey no shops open it would have nice to have a welcome hamper, milk, bread ,coffee? We had to go to bed hungry

Wonderful stay at Villa Coco-Loco
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cabanas, staying at the ideally situated villa Coco-Loco. Located in a quiet residential area but just a short walk to the water taxi to the beach, supermarket and a range of restaurants, the villa is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The outdoor spaces and pool are beautifully maintained and offer a perfect alternative to a day at the beach. We would highly recommend villa Coco- Loco to both couples and families alike. We have already booked our next holiday there.

Wonderful Villa
We have just returned from 2 great weeks in this beautiful villa. It is extremely spacious and very clean. The pool and gardens are well maintained. My husband and I had previously stayed in Coco Loco and liked our stay so much we invited family this holiday. They were equally impressed. What's not to like!! A short stroll take you into Cabanas with many restaurant and shops. Teresa, the owner, is most helpful and easy to get in touch with. Hopefully, we will return very soon.

Simply Perfect!
We have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Vivenda Coco-Loco. The owner, Teresa, was so helpful right from our initial enquiries and it was reassuring to know that lovely Margerida(who looks after the villa) was always available if we needed any help during our holiday. The villa itself is fantastic and very spacious. We were a family of 4 (3 adults and a teenager) and had more than enough room-the villa would easily accommodate 6 people. The villa was spotlessly clean and well maintained :the outside area is particularly great. The pool was large, the sun loungers comfortable and there was lots of shade if required. The villa is centrally positioned- 5 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and the boat across to the beach. A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday!

Fantastic villa, perfect, re booked already
Villa Coco Loco is a beautifully well presented home in a perfect location for exploring the village of Cabanas. We have holidayed in Cabanas on seven other occasions and this Villa with its spacious rooms, well maintained gardens and superior swimming pool is without doubt the best place we've stayed. Spotlessly clean on arrival and well equipped throughout. Cabanas is an increasingly popular location in the eastern Algarve with its fabulous beach and lagoon and possesses a subtle blend of sleepy fishing village by day and its vibrant bars & restaurants by evening. Villa Coco Loco is only a short stroll from the promenade with its numerous shops & bars. A huge thank you to the owner Teresa and indeed to Margarida who was so friendly, helpful & informative upon our arrival. Perfect for all age groups. something for everyone.

Beautiful villa in ideal location
We have been on many villa holidays in the last 10 years and this villa is one of the best we have stayed in. Coco Loco had excellent facilities, was well maintained and the pool (which was big) and gardens were lovely to relax in. We really enjoyed having barbecues and sitting out all evening. The villa was a short stroll from the river front where you could get a water taxi across to the beach. There were also many bars and restaurants close by and a couple of supermarkets that stocked a good range of products. Teresa, the owner, was very helpful during the booking process and provided a lot of information about the area including places to go and restaurant recommendations. Check in was carried out by Margarida who was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would reocommend Coco Loco and Cabanas to anyone wanting to stay in this part of the Algarve.

Fabulous family villa in a small seaside resort
This was our second visit to Villa Coco Loco as we enjoyed the first visit so much! The house was exactly as we remembered it - spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The garden is well kept (the gardener came to water the plants while we were there) and the pool is also clean and well looked after. There is an outdoor dining table and chairs, a sofa set with coffee table, and a hammock (great for reading in the sun!) The house has all the facilities you could need and I was glad to see the addition of a coffee maker in the kitchen! Previous occupants often leave inflatable items for use in the pool and there were three bodyboards in the garage when we visited, which the kids loved using to surf the waves at the beach. The villa is in a very peaceful location and only a 5 minute stroll from the waterfront. We really love Cabanas - the people in the local shops and restaurants are so friendly and welcoming and, for such a small town, there is an amazing array of high-quality restaurants. We recommend Pizzeria Roma, Cabanas Brasserie (tucked behind the modern church right by the villa), Atlantis and The Ideal. There is also an Indian takeaway in the village now too. The beach is reached via small boat (1.5 euros per person for the round trip across the Ria Formosa) and the sand goes on for miles. There is a cafe there too although it was very busy and also expensive so would definitely recommend taking your own food/drinks. Thank you again Teresa for a wonderful stay - we will be back again I'm sure!

Great villa!
We loved our stay at Coco Loco, the villa is well proportioned and very nicely decorated throughout. We had everything we needed for a relaxed and comfortable week. The area is fabulous, not too busy with very friendly locals. Margherida gave us a lovely welcome on arrival and was contactable should we have needed her throughout our stay. Contact with Teresa (the owner) was always easy and friendly. We would definitely stay in this lovely villa again.

Lovely villa in excellent location
The villa was lovely with everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Close to all amenities with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Also local bus to Tavira and a railway station which unfortunately we didnt discover until a couple of says before we came home so didnt use. Cabanas itself is very peaceful and the beach (reached by boat) is lovely.

Perfect villa and location.
We spent a wonderful two weeks in Coco Loco. It is a beautiful villa in a great location. Everything went smoothly from booking with Teresa to meeting Margharida, both extremely helpful. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday, very spacious with a great sized pool, plenty of sun loungers and outdoor furniture. WiFi for the teenagers is also a bonus! It is a short 5 minute walk from the seafront, where you can catch a boat to the beach or visit one of the many restaurants. We will definitely return

All you could wish for (once again)
Another wonderful stay in Coco Loco. Returned to Coco Loco this year having spent two weeks there last year and had another fantastic holiday. The villa, pool and gardens are immaculately clean. The two downstairs bedrooms have been recently modernised and are now as lovely as the upstairs master ensuite which is just lovely. The large pool with accompanying sun loungers are perfect for a family with children. We mostly had lunch and dinner by the pool which was great. The villa however is just five minutes walk to restaurants, shops and bakery's. This is my idea of a dream villa in a truely fantastic location. I have already booked this villa for next year!!!

Super villa
I thoroughly recommend coco loco. We stayed at the end of May 17 for a week and all was as advertised. Very pleased, master bedroom and ensuite very nice, spacious and modern. Nice balcony from main bedroom also that overlooks the garden. We all loved the excellent pool, gardens beautifully kept and barbecue was well used. Lovely covered patio area with large table and chairs. Plenty of sun loungers too. We even found some inflatable things (dolphin and rings) in the garage that the children loved. Kitchen well equipped and nice lounge area with satellite TV ( English speaking stations quite limited) and comfy sofas. We all enjoyed the stay, Cabanas village very nice, some good little restaurants and shops.

Excellent Property & Location
Stayed for 17 days in this delightful villa. The location, in a quiet mainly residential area and only 5 minutes walk from the waterfront meant almost everything was at our fingertips. The villa itself is large and airy with plenty of room for relaxation, (WiFi TV, DVD, etc etc all available if required) Everything spotlessly clean and well looked after.(The photos are real) The master bathroom has recently been modernised to and I understand that other modifications will follow when possible. The swimming pool is absolutely fantastic and warms up nicely in the sunshine. (Regularly maintained as are the gardens) Could go on and on extolling the qualities of Coco Loco and Would Highly Recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Cabanas

Beautiful villa
Elegant villa with loads of space. 3 bedrooms with the master suite being separate and upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of crockery, pans etc. Dishwasher, although we didn't use it. Washing machine as well. Internet service was very good. Photos on website are accurate. It is in a nice neighbourhood and the property is well-cared for. The weather wasn't great at the beginning which meant we had to use the heating which was a bit expensive, but we were glad there was heating. Cabanas is a lovely town a little less touristy especially in winter. Loads of restaurants to choose from and all excellent. The people in town are so friendly & helpful. Villa in easy walking distance of the whole town. Highly recommend this villa and if we were to go again we would have no qualms about renting it again. We had a day at a "Taste of Algarve" a cooking and eating experience just outside Tavira which we thoroughly recommend.
