Secluded wilderness experience in comfort

Echoing loon calls, encounters with slapping beavers, caught 6 kinds of fish, given a display of Bald Eagles feeding their screeching young at the beach across the lake, met a great blue heron at the beaver dam as we stealthfully approached on paddle boards, many of us drifted prone across the lake with the wind, walked the community trail amazed at the array of fungi, always enjoyed driving out to the surprise of deer young and old, opened your Catan game and played it two nights, left the house at 5:00 am to climb Marcy on a warm and clear day in August...what a delight. You have the best equipped kitchen of all our rentals in 20 years. And the sleeping arrangement was comfortable and clean. We were able to spread out to read or work with privacy for all in the house. Even in a new house you achieved an Adirondack lodge feel. We loved it!
