We had an excellent stay! The home was spotless when we arrived—truly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was well cared for, organized, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.The location was another huge highlight. It was incredibly convenient for exploring Cape Cod, with easy access to the bridges, beaches, the Cape Cod Canal, restaurants, and grocery stores. It made getting everywhere quick and easy while still providing a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book this home again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located Cape Cod getaway!

The host was wonderful with communication and responsiveness! Always helpful with questions before our visit and during. However, there were several issues.Just a few notes:The biggest was the large blood stain on the pillow and the small stain on the mattress. This was discovered when we removed the sheets and pillowcases. We are very grossed out. I would have the cleaners check the game and book inventory for kids. There was nothing at all. That was a big bummer for us as we would have brought more but didn’t since it was listed. When you say pets are allowed, I would mention in the listing that they are not allowed on furniture, as my friend probably would have left her dog at home. The listing said toilet paper was supplied, but there wasn’t enough for us for the time and we had to purchase some. We didn’t use the BBQ as it wasn’t very clean. Many of the white mugs were chipped. The glass pans were dirty. When it was discovered before our visit that the TV wasn’t working, ordering a new one more quickly would have been nice. All the doors were insanely squeaky. Like super loud. The bunk bed was also crazy squeaky and loud.I would suggest something for the skylight in the bedroom for people who sleep in there.

I always want my guests to feel well cared for before and during their stay. Several of the items you mentioned have already been addressed with my cleaning team, including replacing the pillow and comforter and inspecting all kitchen items. We also appreciate you bringing the squeaky doors and bunk bed to our attention, as those are easy maintenance items that we were happy to add to our list. Regarding the television, unfortunately it stopped working just before your arrival. A replacement was ordered immediately, but shipping delays meant it could not be installed during your stay. I sincerely apologize for that inconvenience. I also appreciate your suggestions regarding the pet policy, game inventory, and the skylight. Guest feedback helps us continue improving the experience for future visitors! For the past 3 years, we’ve been fortunate to host wonderful guests and have consistently received outstanding reviews. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home, and we appreciate all feedback that helps us do even better.

The house was perfect for our trip. We had enough space for 2 small families, and it was great having 2 bathrooms. The children loved playing in the backyard and it was fenced in which brought us peace of mind. The house is close to the center of Falmouth and other attractions. Silvershell Beach was great, we ended up spending 6 hours there one day. Thank you, Jacqueline, for sharing your home with us.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We stayed here to have some space of our own while visiting home for Thanksgiving. The house was right down the street from my parents and as advertised, cozy and comfortable. Also the fenced in backyard and house layout made traveling with our dog stress free. Check in was very easy and the house had everything we needed.
