About this property

Newly Renovated Victorian Home in Downtown SAV

This newly renovated Victorian home in downtown Savannah offers guests 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Come enjoy this clean, quiet space and enjoy amenities like fresh towels and linens, complimentary Keurig coffee, WiFi, free on-street parking, convenient self check-in, and so much more!

Originally built in 1913, this home features historic charm, modern decor, high ceilings, and plenty of space. Beautiful hardwood and decorative fireplaces throughout. Enjoy access to 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen stocked with basic cookware, appliances, and complimentary Keurig coffee. Relax in our boho chic living room with a Roku Smart TV and quiet study nook. When you arrive, make yourself at home and feel free to adjust the thermostat to your liking.

Beds: There are 3 queen beds and 2 sofa beds.

Parking: There is free, on-street parking available. This is very common in Savannah - if you decide to stay downtown, you will have a very hard time finding off-street parking. There is usually ample parking available, but it is first come, first served and there are no reserved spaces. We cannot guarantee parking spaces, or enough space for trailers, U-Hauls, boats, etc. Please be advised of weekly street cleaning - there are signs that indicate which day of the week the street cleaning is, and if you happen to stay during street cleaning, you can just park on the opposite side of the street.

Quiet Hours: This is a residential neighborhood. Please be advised that we ask all guests to respect 10PM quiet hours every night of the week. Any violations may result in a formal report on Airbnb or an early termination of your reservation.

You're within walking distance to many Savannah staples, including Forsyth Park, Bull Street Taco, The Starland Yard, Big Bon Bodega, Foxy Loxy, Henny Penny Cafe, and about a 25 minute drive to Tybee Island.

Any unapproved late checkouts may result in additional fees.

There is a $50 shipping fee for any items that you leave behind and need shipped back to you.

This listing is a great fit for large groups such as wedding/bachelorette parties, or folks looking to come to Savannah to have a great time and experience the city as locally and authentically as possible! If a residential neighborhood filled with art students and families of folks who look differently than you will make you uncomfortable, then I’d recommend a hotel. If things like dust on blinds, leaves on the patio, or scuffs on the stairs are what will determine whether or not you enjoy your stay, I’d also recommend a hotel. It just depends on what you’re looking for as a visitor, and if you’re unsure about what may be the most suitable for you and your needs, I’m happy to chat with you at any point to help you determine that!

Poor communication with host
We had a great stay— the property is in a convenient location close to downtown Savannah and historic landmarks. The home itself is accurately depicted in photos. However, I recommend the host improve their communication skills with guests. I had to contact VRBO to get in touch with him, I did not receive the access instructions until a few minutes after the scheduled check in time, and I had to reach out to him for check out instructions as well which he did not provide until 11pm the night before our check out. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

St Patrick's weekend trip
Renting, checking in & out went smoothly. All 3 bedrooms were spacious & each had their own vibe. Lots of towels for our group of 7, which isn't always the case. We walked to the parks, local bars /restaurants & to the river area. We always felt safe & everyone we met were nice & helpful. Definitely would stay here again! (Bonus...the entry door pad worked everytime!)

Beware of area before booking this location.
Ladies weekend in Savannah and I booked this location. The pictures do not really show the front of the property, which is definitely in need of a cleaning and update. The stairs do not have a handrail and the steps were higher than current steps, although this is probably common in an older renovated home. However, it really needs a railing. The area is a transition area with many empty buildings or under buildings undergoing renovation. The unit is on the corner of a street which is a VERY BUSY thoroughfare, not a typical residential street. There was a parking spot available directly in front of the unit. There were the remains of marijuana joints on both the front and back porches when we arrived. Each bedroom has a separate locking unit as though this is, or was, a boarding house. The decor is very "college student oriented", which would have been okay but the seating area was almost at floor level. The place really needed a thorough cleaning. In the evening, and far into the night, there was a very loud group of males hanging out on the corner drinking and enjoying themselves - which really made it difficult to sleep. To top it off, the second floor of the unit is a permanent rental which has hardwood floors and the renters got home after 10 pm and were then up for several hours. The problem is their shoes or boots made enough noise that it was impossible to ignore. The back landing lights were out and the back entrance door only had a very simple push in the button on the handle to lock, no deadbolt. When we got up on Saturday morning, we discovered a couple of empty beer cans, another marijuana butt and a TV remote control on the front porch and the beer cans were on the windowsill to one of the bedrooms! Creepy to realize someone was on the porch, right at a bedroom window, during the night. We left the front porch light on thinking it would deter anyone from coming up, but not sure if this may have actually attracted someone. Conversely, the bathrooms were both clean and well stocked, as was the coffee station in the kitchen. However, if the group intending to book includes older ladies, single women or families with children, I would definitely give this one a pass.
