A delightful tiny cottage in Central Eugene (Home of the Oregon Ducks), is located between the Pacific Ocean and Cascade Mountains in the lovely Willamette Valley. Features include serene colors and textures, tall ceilings, and antiques. All furniture and linens are top quality and new for your comfort. Reading a book in the cozy window seat is a perfect way to unwind after a full day of activities. I have two goldens: one a two yr old puppy (rescue puppy from a rescue litter) and an 11 yr old. Both will bark when they see guests. I have been and am still working with a dog trainer to identify and remediate the issues. Much improvement has been made! Ample storage is provided for your belongings. A deep closet with shelves can accommodate most personal items. In addition, space above the 9 foot row of cabinets can store extras. Larger items can be placed in the garage as stated on the checklist. Finally, light fills the cottage through extensive quality lighting, skylight, bay window, and two other large windows. Built with a good sized kitchen, the studio comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 1 child. The w/d and closet space are bump outs into the garage. The overall sq. footage is about 450 sq feet. A ductless heat pump was installed June 2019 for ac and heat.
Your home away from home is off a safe, quiet dead end street, surrounded by lovely gardens. Bungalows, Cottages, Tudors, Atomic Age Ranches, and Craftsmen homes were built in the neighborhood, creating an interesting flat walking tour through one of Eugene's older neighborhoods. Plenty of patio seating is available to take advantage of our perfect Oregon summer and fall. Next to the Amazon bike trail, easy access to Eugene is available. In addition, the rapid bus system is just a few blocks from the cottage. An easy walk will get you to major venues in Eugene: the U of O, Hult Center/Cuthbert Amphitheater/The Shedd, library, Saturday Market, fine dining, and many recreational opportunities. Also, several parks are sited close to the cottage. A small breakfast of yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, and creamer will be provided Keywords: Studio,Guesthouse,Cottage

The host was super welcoming, after a long drive it was really refreshing to check in here. Such a beautiful place to visit, it had everything we needed for our quick trip. I loved staying here!
We Loved this place! The host is incredible and we felt very taken care of. Every detail was covered. Great neighborhood also. Perfect place for a couple.
Description is spot on. This is a delightful little cottage. Clean, comfortable and warm. Carole checked in with me to make sure everything was well. Well earned five star and will stay there again!
We again enjoyed staying at Carol’s lovely cottage with its beautiful garden. As we have on several previous stays, we found the place comfortable, very attractive & providing everything we might possibly need for several days in Eugene - nice bedding & towels, a very well-equipped kitchen, space for sitting & reading, & at the counter for eating. We look forward to staying again on our next visit to town.Rachel & Elliot (relatives of Annie)
In Eugene to watch my daughter ( Boise State softball ) play the Ducks. Carole’s cottage had everything plus what we needed for a comfortable stay! She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! Would recommend to any of my friends and family!
The beautiful cottage was just as described. Perfect location, quiet, lovely garden setting, and wonderfully attentive host. We will definitely book again when we come back!
Nice little property. Host was VERY accommodating for me and my family. Made us feel like we have been friends for a long time and came in for a few days. Thanks Carol
Carole's cottage is full of careful, thoughtful touches, and Carole's herself is a wonderful host. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and pretty. All-in-all, a truly excellent experience. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
This is the first Vrbo I've stayed in and I doubt future stays in other places will live up to the coziness of this place. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
The host was welcoming and cordial. Barking dogs barking at you were annoying coming and going. Being hard of hearing, I could never get the volume on the remote on the TV functioning properly even after mentioning it to the host once. The unit had some nice amenities and was clean. All in all, it was a comfortable night's sleep when I needed the rest.,

This was a delightful place to stay. Carole has the best stocked coffee options of any vacation rental I have ever been to. Will definitely be going back when we go to Eugene.
Carol is a great host. The property is very clean and in great shape. Perfect vacation location for a couple. Really enjoyed my stay.

Why they chose this property
After years of accumulating junk from my 3 sons, I decided to turn unused space into a practical, simple studio. As with most things in life, The Cottage took on a life of its own and begged to become a Vacation Rental! It's still practical. However, it now considers itself elegant and charming.
What makes this property unique
I love Eugene. As a transplanted East Coast big city kinda gal, I appreciate what this city has to offer: great summers and falls are perfect for outdoor activities, winters bring skiing and visits to the coast, the stimulation of being in a college town (Go Ducks), excellent medical facilities, and sipping Pinot Noir while the sun sets at 10 pm on a perfect July night.
