Excellent place, great location on a quiet cove. Recently updated property. The house sleeps about 13 comfortably. The communication with the host was excellent and timely. We would stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate it, and would love to host you again for future trips to the lake.
Very nice. House was as advertised - plenty of room with a great deck and dock. Rented a pontoon (recommended) and really enjoyed our stay. Definitely on the list of places to stay at again.

Thanks for staying with us Michael! we'd love to host again soon.
We enjoyed our long weekend with family of 10 (adults and college kids). The place could use a deep cleaning - particularly the kitchen - but the basic cleanliness was good. We were there on the off-season, so perhaps the house has been unused for awhile. Overall a good choice for my family.

Thanks for the great review Melissa. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We will address the feedback with our housekeeping team, it is very much appreciated.
We would love to host again in the future.
First time at SML, stayed at this lovely 6 bedroom place right on the water. Excellent amenities including hot tub (we used it), pool table (also used that), kayaks (ditto) modern appliances, etc. Dock wasn't fancy but that it served well to park the rental boat. Turns out this place is pretty convenient (within 15 minute boat ride) to a couple of nice marina's with restaurants. You can always nit-pick (only bathroom upstairs for two bedrooms is in the master bedroom) but overall this is a lovely place to stay and we had a great time!

Thanks for the feedback Brian. You've been awesome and we'd love to host again next season!
Great house,, nice location with good frontage, spacious lot and great amenities with basement pool table/bar, porches, generous deck furniture, hot tub, firepit, 4 kayaks and large covered dock. Furniture, kitchen, appliances, grill all nice supplies, and plenty for capacity . Would be perfect with 1 more bath for the # of bedrooms, since 1 bath is inside the master. Hottub didn't hold up to lake water suits, daily use and was funky fast; maybe a mid week service or ability to shock it. Instructions from rental company could have been clearer...conflicting info in different emails, but responded quickly to questions.

Thank you for your comments- yes everyone is to wash off and no lotions at all in a hot-tub or like at any hot-tub it would turn funky.
Let us know about which issues on instructions - from the company- we do know , we have hoped to cover everything- and this is the first time in 20 years we have heard this- so we would like to be on target for you .

Tight fit
we came with a group of 12 and it was a very tight fit. While there were beds for everyone the living spaces were very tight. The “living room” had seating for five people max which ruled out together time there. The gaming area downstairs had two game type tables which would seat eight separately and no sofas or chairs which limited the together time there also. Fortunately we had great weather and spent most of our time outdoors. The dock with kayaks was nice but the walk down was a little treacherous for older folks with rocks and exposed tree roots to get over. Also, they could use some kind of support / railing to get down those block stairs at the entry to the dock. The kitchen had most things we needed but everything was old and battered. It looked like everything was from a flea market as it was mismatched and old looking. There were three colanders and only one large skillet that was dented and misshapen. On the positive side it was on a great inlet on a good part of the lake. Close to the marina where we rented a boat for the week and could see multiple fireworks. The outside deck was a wonderful place to have your coffee in the mornings as it was peaceful and gave a good look at the lake and the folks enjoying a slow morning ride. The family enjoyed long nights by the fire pit which was supplied with plenty of cut wood. It was too hot to enjoy the hot tub but the grill was used a couple of times by “the guys”. Communication with the manager was very responsive.

NOT WORTH OUR MONEY
The pictures online make the place look better than it really is. This home has 6 bedrooms, 3 floors, and 3 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms had king size beds, not bad. The other three twin size beds, so for a family with many couples, not good. Due to the amount of rooms, the listing shows this home is good for 10+ people. The main floor consists of a SMALL living room & kitchen with dining area, not big enough for a family. There was only one sofa and loveseat. The kitchen could only fit two people comfortably. It had a small double sink, and barely any room for food that, of course, we had to purchase. There was a drawer in the kitchen that was not aligned correctly, and almost fell on my mom's foot. She scratched herself trying to keep it from falling and the items in it. She is older, and I had to help her pick it back up. A bathroom sink was nasty and clogged up. The good thing is I reached, and they immediately fixed it. The bad thing is if those that stay in that home pay for a cleaning service, why was this not taken care of before we got there. Some bedrooms did not have any locks. Where is the security? The main living areas upstairs and downstairs did not have any curtains, and there were some large windows. Where is the privacy? The tvs were so small in the majority of the rooms, it was sad. No sofa downstairs where the big tv was. It was uncomfortable! Been doing this for 5 yrs, and this was the worse experience! Not enough space to write all.

Thank you for your feedback. We will share this with our team. We have never had a bad review about the set up of the home. It is all shown in the pictures of the bed set ups and living room. However we will take note on the curtain suggestion, all bedrooms do have curtains. The downstairs has a pool table and a kitchen so it would be impossible to put a couch in. We are sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience. Thanks again for your feedback.
The house was a good size for our group of 8 (two families). We did have an extra bedroom that we didn't use, but it might have been a bit tight with three families. The kitchen had most everything we needed. The outside areas were great - we spent a ton of time on the dock. We also got to use the firepit and hot tub. We rented a boat and were able to keep it at the dock overnight. The lake was not crowded and we lucked out with the weather. We had an awesome time.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out. This property is now under new management and has been drastically renovated. The deck has been completely replaced as well as furniture and carpets. We hope you consider giving our property another shot as the new rental company is very attentive.
Everything was fine until the check out day. The automatic lock was activated hours before we left. Thinking about using a different agency because of that issue.

Thank you for staying, You actually did not depart till after 11am and check out is 10am , and yes the locks are timed for your safety and the next guest. Every family receives a different code. We do warn you , to please make sure everything is out of the home at 10am . Thanks again for staying, other agencies here also have timed locks now, to ensure guest safety, so perhaps you need to ask.
The house was exactly as advertised. We absolutely loved sitting on the dock, with its covered area and deep water which allowed for light boat traffic to keep us entertained. The owners and property manager were very responsive. We had an issue with the clothes dryer early in our stay, and they came quickly to inspect it and had a new one installed less than 24 hours later. The kitchen was well stocked and had a great table which sat on whole group. Great place! Would definitely stay here again!
