We have stayed at this home previously. As always the home was beautifully kept and the views are outstanding. The previous renters forgot to leave the key. I contacted Mrs. Karla and she had a locksmith out to the property in no time. This home and owner are exceptional and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Very nice and we really enjoyed the house. The basement bedroom is very musty at first but luckily no one stayed in there. It aired out after a couple of days. We would return.

Price point is perfect for this place, it is located close to Franklin or Sylva...cashiers and highlands are an easy drive also. The place is clean but dated, not a big deal to us. I would stop at a grocery store on the way in or plan on going to dinner somewhere in Franklin or Sylva...then figure out what you need from the grocery store after taking inventory of what amenities are available in the kitchen. Bring a Candle or two if you are using the basement rooms, it has the old school basement odor. Great place! this was our second time at this location and will be heading back in the future...

Our family spent over a week in this beautiful home and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook for our large family and grocery stores and restaurants were relatively close.The beds were some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on and the view was just splendid! The neighbors dog (Mooch) was an added bonus as he would come and hang out with us on the deck.We enjoyed exploring the many small towns around this area and had plenty to do.The owner communicated with us throughout our stay and answered every question we had promptly. We would highly recommend this home and have it on our favorites for when we want to return to this area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very welcoming and accommodating. The kitchen was like being at home. The decor was inviting. Loved that the Christmas tree was still up. It was a little cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked so I guess we’ll have to book another trip when it’s warmer.

Wonderful home

Beautiful home with a view. Easy access and Franklin near by. Neighborhood is gated and quiet. Plenty of room for family or quests. Foxes, squirrels, deer and bear. Many species of birds. Very enjoyable

secluded tree-top retreat

Dry Falls; Mingus Mill; Bryson Apple Orchard; Pickens Nose Trail; Blue Ridge Parkway ---all were just a short drive from this spacious, relaxing, home. We enjoyed our stay very much!
