Very clean very nice place to stay. Plenty of room at a great price. Host was very nice also. We will definitely be considering coming back or a late Christmas late new year trip.
This is a gorgeous, roomy cabin secluded and quite. The kids had great time in the backyard. And the surroundings the view and sound of the river was a plus. Hoping to stay again in the summer.
My family and I throughly enjoyed staying at the Foxfire Cabin. We had plenty of room for our family of 8. One of the best things about the cabin was that it had two king beds which helped tremendously for my husband and myself and my son and daughter in law. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, had a lovely view of the mountains and had everything we needed for our stay.
Cabin is beautiful and decor is very nice. Property and location is so pretty! Had to contact the host due to the wind damaging their outdoor umbrella for the table. He was very nice and understanding. We had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend.
This was a great stay in a secluded location which we wanted. That being said it was still close and convenient to restaurants and groceries.Host allowed an early check-in due to a personal situation we had which was much appreciated.Cabin was well stocked and we mostly had to get our groceries/food.Entry roads may be challenging if there is snow and/or ice so just be careful. One negative but not a big deal - multiple stink bugs were seen in the cabin over our 5 day trip(round flat bugs about the size of a dime but they do not have an odor). This was not a problem for most of us but we did have a few guests who are scared of bugs. lol
The host were responsive, property was clean and tidy, well stocked with kitchenwares and linens. Only negative would be not enough comfy seating in family room. Only 1 couch and a recliner so all of us could not gather to watch a movie or game. There is a new canin being build at theend of the driveway and makes ot tight to maneuver our bigger vehicles with the workers present, luckily no construction noise.
We rented this cabin for a week stay over Thanksgiving break. It was well stocked and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a thanksgiving meal.
The cabin was clean and had plenty of space. The listing shows it as a 1.5 bathroom but it has two full baths and a half bath. Towels, linens, throw blankets were all clean and top quality. My kids especially loved the “fox den” room for them to sleep in.
The cabin was a bit farther out away from the heart of downtown Franklin then we are used to staying. It was a solid 25 min to downtown. Not terribly far, but definitely a bit rural. It did give for a very quiet, beautiful Mountain View.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.
This log cabin is perfect for a multi-generational family and was comfortably furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We loved rocking on the porch while listening to the river and watching hummingbirds dive for the feeders. Sunset was beautiful. The decor is a tasteful and appropriate mix of NC blue ridge mountains and more personal and unique touches. And downtown Franklin with its shopping and restaurants is 22 minutes away.
