Peaceful Pines Cottage 5 minutes from Old Forge - Lake Access to Lake Tekini


Get away from it all and enjoy Peacefull Pines. This cottage has all the comforts of home and then some. As you enter there is a porch with a full futon couch and tv. This leads to a comfortable living space with a futon couch, vaulted ceilings and a wood stove. There is a separate dining area with seating for 4. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked.
The main house has two bedrooms which each feature queen beds. Each has a mounted fan and big windows. The bathroom has a small tub shower combo.
There is an added bunk room behind the neighboring garage. This space has a queens bed and a bunkbed with a single and a double bed under it. This area has a fan and an electric heater.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer and located through an exterior separate entrance on the back of the house.
There is plenty of space outside to play games and a large fire pit to sit by at night. Beach access to Lake Tekini is within walking distance.
Mr. Coffee, Kuerig, Firepit, Washer & Dryer, Internet. **No sheets or towels are provided, guests must bring their own. Pillows and bed quilts are provided. **

**Winter rentals not available.

We had a great stay. My family has a camp that’s walking distance just not big enough for all of us at the same time. It’s really nice to be able to stay at peaceful pines.

We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Pines. The Okara Lakes area is lovely and it was close to Old Forge. The cottage was quaint and well cared for. I was disappointed that the amenities list was not accurate. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked. However when we went to make coffee, there was no coffee or coffee filters offered. Additionally, both drip makers were dirty and in need of cleaning. We were also told we had to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, which for the price we paid for the rental was a bit much. Lastly, the washing machine was not operable as it was under repair. For 900 for a 3 night stay, I would expect this to be a working amenity,
