One night rental

Nice to stay in one night before e flew out the next day. Mainly Hung out on the back patio area because the weather was perfect. Short walk to a large grocery chain nd the tram.

Seward park weekend

We stayed 2 nights. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a full kitchen. Washer didn't work. this was disappointing as we had just come off a 7 day cruise and were planning to do laundry. Also the lighting to the back door was non existent and it was dark walking at night.

The property was set up like a duplex, which the listing doesn’t say. To get to the basement, you had to enter through the outside. It worked for us because we only stayed one night, but wouldn’t have worked for us if we were staying more than one night as it made it a hassle to be able to see everyone and mingle. The house also had a cigarette smell that was trying to be masked with air fresheners and was very strong. The kitchen had bare minimum stuff and wouldn’t have been possible to make big meals in.

Decent, just old

Pros: location - family neighborhood not too far from downtown; space - looks small but has enough space for a group of 8+ if you're ok splitting between upstairs and downstairs; host - easy to communicate with through the website; decor - nice, updated. Cons: old - feels and smells old, not many electrical outlets; no AC - could be too hot upstairs in the summer; cleanliness - dusty in the corners and windowsills, cobwebs, smelly carpet.
