Fantastic place to stay! 5 adults and plenty of room. Super clean with 2 full bathrooms, washer, dryer, and all the amenities. Great location for both Saugatuck and Holland. Definitely a place to come back to!

Not very soundproof as we could hear talking above us while we were watching a movie, also the bed in the furthest room across from the bathroom, needs replacing badly, it is noisy and rickety. I think otherwise it was very nice. The other room, which I used, seemed updated with newer bedroom features, such as pedestal bed with storage in the drawers, but they were full of pillows which I love as well. It had floating bedside tables and extra outlets on both sides of the bed. The rest of the apartment was 5 star if you close the door where the humidifier is located because it could be loud.

Your comments are the first negative review we have received in seven years of hosting, so we take them seriously. We will address the concern you mentioned about the bedroom. Regarding the noise, we happened to be at the property that weekend because our son, who had not been home in four years, flew in to visit us. We usually are not at our home, but the weather was too bad for us to stay at the marina, even so, we make every effort to observe our quiet hours beginning at 10:00 p.m. I also want to apologize again regarding your cancellation request. We communicated several times before your arrival and truly tried to work with VRBO to find a solution. I understand how disappointing the situation was for you. Unfortunately, because the request came only seven days before your scheduled arrival, it was outside the cancellation window, and we were unable to make an exception under the booking policy. Thank you again for your feedback. We wish you all the best and appreciate that you chose to stay with us. Gary and Mary

I soon realized, after a several phone call this group of 5 ladies never used a push button door lock. I also realized they are challenge by written instructions. Very fun group. The poor ratings come from the smoking on the front door steps leaving cigarettes and ashes to be cleaned up. Sorry!!

Property was exactly as described. It was spotless, and had everything we needed for the long weekend, including laundry facilities and all the kitchen/cooking/dining supplies. I really appreciated the provided sensitive skin laundry detergent! The door lock code was not as expected when we arrived, but Gary answered the phone on the first ring and resolved the situation immediately. Excellent communication and support!Onsite parking was really nice and spacious. Directions to the house were clear and correct. The only feedback would be related to the bed in the second bedroom. It's soft, so as two 200 lb people, we rolled to the center of it. We still slept great. Just plan on putting kids or smaller friends in the second bedroom. :-) It was quiet, spacious, and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Well-equipped, roomy lower level unit which must have been recently remodeled. Heated bathroom floors, all kitchen utensils and appliances, modern TV and internet etc. Host was very helpful and concerned with our comfort. There were several stairs to navigate here and the entry was a bit complicated with a step-off in the garage entry that was not easy to see and would have been dangerous if someone made a misstep.

Quiet Respite

Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The accommodations were perfect and it's in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path, yet close enough to get anywhere in 5 minutes. The place was immaculate and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect mini getaway
