Dirty not as listed property/ stay away. The HVAC vent has visible black buildup that appears to be mold, which is a health concern - The thermostats are not working, so we cannot control the temperature - The TV is not functioning - The upper deck patio is missing furniture shown in the listing - The fire feature is incomplete/missing parts These issues mean the property is not as advertised, and the HVAC/mold situation is especially concerning from a safety standpoint. Tried contacting the host Chloe multiple times without a response. Going to submit a report and claim to VRBO. Sent her multiple emails and voicemails with no response.
We had a great time at this house! It accommodated us all. It was very clean. The agent responded promptly with any questions we had. The rooftop deck was great and our prime hangout spot. It was great for my family and we'd stay here again!
This house is great for large families or a group of friends. Right next to the grocery store, short walk to beach and close to great restaurants at Lido.
Perfect location for walking to the beach and walking to restaurants!! The unit was clean and modern with spacious parking and rooms! We loved spending time on the rooftop patio!
The house is better in person than in the pictures. All appliances worked amazing and the AC was great too!! We really had an amazing time, and it was so simple to cross the street and grab a bite to eat or restock on drinks. The location is amazing! You won’t be disappointed.
I hosted a bachelor weekend for my best friend. We loved the location of the house. Walking distance to the beach, grocery and dinner options. The house gave plenty of space for all of us inside and with the addition of the rooftop a great area to gather and get some sunshine. We were a short drive to the harbor for our boat tour and a short uber to Costa Mesa for a night at Time Nightclub. Check in was super easy and so was checkout. I’d select this house again for future trips to Newport.
Our group really enjoyed staying in this Newport Beach house. Modern beach-chic living-- we were able to cook for ourselves or walk to the Lido area for upscale restaurants. Pavillions market is right across the street, along with Coldstone ice cream, Chipotle, and other convenient establishments. Easy communication with the property manager when we had questions.
Fantastic location. Close to the beach, parking at the house, grocery store and good tacos and pizza in the plaza across the street. Boardwalk at the beach with many many shops- adult kids surfed and rented bikes and had a blast. Whale Watch trip with David’s Locker was a great success and we hiked at local State Park. Sherman’s Library and Gardens was beautiful. A couple of problems but the host was easy to communicate with by text and email.

Good and Bad
The good: The unit is located in a great area, close to the beach, restaurants, and the grocery store, with easy access to the mainland. The unit is updated and has lots of living space inside and out, and good bathrooms. It can also accommodate two cars. The bad: The air conditioning broke in the kitchen on our second day and was fixed the next day, but failed again. The unit had mold in the master bathroom, no lightbulbs in the lamps in the bedroom, a light coming out of the ceiling in the living room, and both the door to the garage and the door to the roof had broken locks.
We have stayed at multiple houses in this area over the years and this one is great! The multiple parking spots is worth it alone! The master bedroom is awesome! There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for my extended family of 10 to all stay. They have lots of sand toys and other supplies for the beach. The kitchen was great with everything we needed to cook all week. We always try to stay near the grocery store and being across the street made it very convenient to grab things we needed daily.
The only weird part is as the family room was located where you had to go through one of 2 bedrooms to get to it - it seems like it was renovated and maybe added that on with the top floor? We didn’t care as we had the kids in one of those bedrooms but be aware if you like your privacy in your room and wouldn’t want people walking through it.
We will definitely try to stay here again!
