Property was amazing! Loved the support and quick responses via text message from management team without being hounded. Beds super comfortable. Would be great if a crib or pack and play were available! Add photos of carriage house - it is super cute!

Amazing Location, Great Layout, Responsive Management

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property is fantastic. The two-story layout of the house is ideal for large families. There aren't too many steps to run up and down, which helps keep small children safe, but there is still enough living space to gather. The rental company has excellent communication and responds promptly to issues. The interior of the house could use some attention, specifically, the appliances. They work, but are temperamental. Homes at this price point usually have high-end appliances and at least one ice maker. Overall, it's a great house, and Royal Destinations is fantastic. We look forward to renting from them again.

Our fun consisted of eating out on the deck, swimming in the large pool, walking right out to the beach for fun and sun, games in the family room and early morning coffee wave watching from the top deck. The kitchen is well stocked. The gas grill outside works well. The pool is lovely and the view incredible at all hours of the day. Any minor maintenance issue was taken care of very quickly. We would book this house again.

Reviewer Comments: Very good, only issue was never saw the bikes that were on listing, was told after checking on them twice in the day before move out they were rentals and they thought they were already on site and could have them delivered. I declined and ask for credit since our stay was almost over. Not sure if I received one but I don’t think so. I believe if I would have pressed the issue on day one it would have been handled though.

We enjoyed our stay and The beach and the view is absolutely beautiful! However, house needs work! We had sugar ants on 1 nightstand 1 day. 2 live cockroaches in one bedroom. The dryer in house did not work at all which means you have to walk outside and up to carriage house to use small size dryer - won’t hold a full load. If you plan to cook, which we did, the pans aren’t great. The non stick pans we didn’t use because coating is in such bad condition. kitchen cabinet with garbage cans in it needs repaired. The oven looks like a fire hazard! The house does NOT come stocked at all!! Absolutely no supplies! We have rented at several VRBOs. At the others there is usually some sort of thank you gift, like, chocolates and wine, or we’ve had snacks and tea and coffee. This house you get one very small box with a very small hand soap, two dish pods, sponge etc. there is absolutely no spices, kitchen bags or any kind of storage containers even for leftovers! At price of this house, it should also be stocked with some beach chairs and a low speed vehicle. There are none! The patio furniture chairs have no cushions. So the lounge and Adirondack chairs are extremely hard and the lounge chairs are uncomfortable. House has bikes - old and not super easy to peddle . House is being rented for a premium. All appliances should be working and in good condition etc. just not the case. Would we stay here again, yes - but prob would need a lower rental rate.

Great house layout but too many issues with things not working .

Beautiful home! Great location! BUT....... Washing machine didn't work the entire week we were there. Took repairman 3 days to even get there.. when he did he couldn't fix it. The dishwasher didn't work so a Repairman came . He said he'd worked on it several times and it couldn't be fixed. (Old appliances) so we were without a dishwasher as well. There were 9 adults with 3 small children and nonworking appliances was an issue!! The house does NOT come with beach chair service, so that cost was about $1400 more for the week. Also, the beach service is sketchy. You have to physically go down to the stand when they open DAILY to specifically request the chairs you have paid for already be put out. If you leave the chairs ( you've already paid for ) for 30 min. , they will remove your things and put up your umbrella and chairs . It was very inconvenient with a family with children. The house, pool and location are great, but overall not worth the price we paid to deal with broken things and beach chair issues on a vacation.

Ultimately the washing machine and dishwasher did have to be replaced, which unfortunately happened after your departure. As a consolation for the washing machine not working, we picked up, laundered, and delivered your personal laundry. Also, we purchased and delivered paper products to help get you by while the dishwasher was being repaired. We understand that going without these items can be frustrating, which is why our team tried our best to remedy the situation. Again, we apologize for these hiccups.

This vacation home is outstanding, and in the perfect location.I suggest having condiments and seasonings to be left in the home from previous renters. Also, have more kitchen towels and wash cloths. It would make cleaning up the kitchen much more convenient. Floors were dirty, so mopping the floors would be good.All those suggestions aside, our stay was wonderful!!!
