My family and I absolutely loved your home! So many layers giving everyone space and being on a road trip everyone could use lol! I loved just being able to see the ocean at every moment.
This was the most amazing property! It was clean, well stocked with anything you might need, and with the most beautiful views. The host was so accommodating and allowed our two fur babies to be there with us for our elopement on the beach. We will forever be loyal customers and are already looking for a time to book again. Thank you!
This place was absolutely perfect for us! The view was AMAZING - I could not stop looking out the windows. The beach access was easy as well. There are a lot of steps to the beach and in the house as the listing mentions so do keep that in mind if that may be an issue. We were there during a rather warm spell and it got a bit warm in the back of the house when the sun was coming in the windows but it was quite comfortable in the rest of the house and during the night. The sound of the ocean at night was so calming! And even though we were close to highway 101 we did not hear any road noise. The kitchen is very well appointed - we made all of our meals at the house and had everything we needed for that. We found that the best option for grocery shopping was in Brookings just about 10 minutes north. Fred Meyer was our go to for that. There were five of us and our dog staying and there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together and space if we wanted to do things separately. My only hesitation when booking was the fact that there is only one bathroom but it was honestly no big deal. We would definitely stay here again!
We just loved our stay here. It was a wonderful area and easy access to the beach. Close to restaurants and the Redwoods. This is definitely a place we will book again. Rest assured if you book this place you will be very pleased.
It was a fun get away for my 50th birthday. We were celebrating with family. We were very pleased with everything. Thank you so much. Will stay again and also recommend to others to stay there as well.
We thought the property was beautiful. Easy access to beach, easy access to call property manager. You can see the ocean from the bedroom and sleep with window s open and you can hear the ocean all night.

Whale Watcher
The property was all we expected: on the beach, clean, well furnished, great views. It does have a lot of stairs, and some curtains in the master bedroom would be nice.
Gorgeous location! Loved the sound of the waves and direct beach access. The beach was super quiet...we saw otters and seals! The master bedroom was enormous and very private.A few things to note: 1) this property adjoins other properties but I couldn't hear a single thing from them; 2) the property wasn't very clean, as in lots of dog hair and dust. I think the cleaners must go through and do the bedding and high touch areas but no one has done a DEEP clean in quite some time. I had to buy Windex and wash all the ocean-facing windows in order to even enjoy the view. I also dropped a hoodie in the hallway and when I picked it up it was covered in long dog hair :( The rugs should either be shampooed or replaced and there is dust on all of the light fixtures, fans, etc. I just lived with all of these things but if you're a clean freak, this place probably isn't for you; 3) the refrigerator door doesn't automatically close and the microwave was broken during our stay, but there was another microwave in a side room off the kitchen, which was kind of a pain but we made due. I did message the property owner about this but they didn't seem to view it as an emergency since we had another microwave to use...which I guess was fine. I'm only taking a little off for these issues because for me personally, location is everything and this place had it. I can live with some minor snafus. I do wish there had been a second bathroom but overall, it was an amazing stay. :)
Can't beat the view and the sound of the crashing waves
We spent 5 nights and was the perfect getaway with our boys (ages 13-18). Never experienced a view like there is from the master bedroom. Started each day with a beach walk and then ventured either up into Oregon or down into the Redwoods. We read the reviews about the stairs and it's just because it's a split level. Our boys had places to escape which meant mom and dad could take in the views from the sun room. Also met the owners on the way out and heard how they'll continue to be making further improvements as they are newer owners and taking great pride in the place.
Great cottage on the beach. There are quite a few stairs inside the property, it has 4 levels, but that didn't deter us much.
The only reason we didnt give them 5 starts is due to trash. There are 4 other rental rooms on the same property and they all share 1 trash can. With 4 people staying, we had quite a bit of trash and to our surprise, the single trash can for the whole property was full. The property manager quickly responded to our text, but storing trash inside the house we are staying in was less than ideal.
Overall a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the sites!!
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Fantastic location; quiet and close to the beach. Couldn’t even hear the 101 even though it was close. Loved the private access to the beach. Unit is spacious, equipped and has plenty of bedrooms. We loved having a private balcony off the master suite. Our last night there was clear so we were able to appreciate a beautiful sunset and did some stargazing that night. Having the windows open at night and hearing the ocean was amazing. The only caveat is-with such a large unit capable of accommodating so many-there is only one bathroom-which made it a bit challenging at times. We also had a couple smaller issues but the property manager was quick to respond. Overall, our rating would be 5 stars if not for the lack of an additional bathroom. There are also 3 levels to the unit; my elderly parents stayed with us but they didn’t have much difficulty with navigating a couple short flights up and down.
The location, ocean view, beach access, fenced lawn with proximity to grocery shopping and restaurants is ideal.
However the floor plan of the dwelling is precarious with multiple staircases, elevations: remodeled several times and is conjoined with two smaller rental units.
There is an ocean facing upper deck off a lovely primary bedroom however it requires a steep clime to the room with a second clime though a window?
This room was left unused.
In the dark, my traveling companion tripped and fell and our old 50 lb dog needed to be lifted in order to move between spaces.
This wonderful place is a true GEM! The photos don’t do it justice and this place exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a beachfront place with amazing views and super easy access to a nice beach, both of which proved superb. My family and I loved the home. The location felt ideal; private but close to groceries/shopping and exploring the gorgeous nature that abounds. The home felt very cozy, roomy, and private, with lots of light. It was very clean, inviting and everything went smooth. The primary bedroom is super spacious and has an awesome deck completely facing the ocean. The front room is also built to face the ocean and enjoy beautiful sunsets while you eat dinner or relax and play board games. The backyard is fenced for pets to run around which was great but I recommend not leaving them by themselves since fence not very high and can jump over. The care, maintenance, and accommodations truly felt intentionally aimed to provide guests with wonderful home away from home experience. Very reasonable price for all that was provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay. My family and I truly enjoyed!

Beautiful views and beach access down wooden stairs. The home has three levels. Master bedrm top floor, 2 bedrms and the one bathroom on middle leve; kitchen, 2 small living rooms, and sun room on bottom level. There is no AC or blinds on west facing windows. Great for views, but makes for a hot and sun scorched an afternoon/evening. It was hard to find a comfortable place to sit as there is no shade outside and the house was hot. The property management will not consider early checkin. We requested a 2pm checkin and received a generic response denying the request for early/late checkin. We didnt receive the code until 12 minutes prior to checkin. We were informed the digital lock wasn't working and needed to use lock box to get key. We tried the lockbox, but did not work. I called property management and spoke to Rosalie. She said she would send maintenance. She was short and rude when i asked how long it would take for him to arrive. She never apologized or acknowledge this inconvenience. The maintenance arrived & said the lock box was broken and the reason the auto lock on door wasn't working was due to dead battery. Our checkin was delayed by 45 minutes. When we tried to access the wifi we used the login information provided in the binder sitting in the main living rm. It was incorrect. Both myself and husband messaged Rosalie, she didn't respond promptly. We kept searching and found the correct info in sunroom on a hutch, not in an obvious location.
