About this property
A Plush Two-level Condo with Ocean and Golf Course Views From its Lanais
Description
Kanaloa at Kona is in Keauhou on the water between Heeia Bay and the Keauhou Kona Golf Course. This resort boasts three swimming pools, including one that is absolutely oceanfront. There are also three hot tubs, two tennis courts, and a game room. Enjoy mornings and evenings on a lanai with sunset ocean views. Dine and entertain on your other lanai, which overlooks the Keauhou golf course. Keauhou amenities include fantastic scuba & free diving, shore & deep sea fishing, surfing, outrigger canoe paddling, volleyball, manta ray diving, etc.
This is a gated complex in an excellent neighborhood. Security is friendly and can help get you checked in. That $30 cleaning fee was for your parking pass. I have extra gate key cards for you inside the kitchen welcome book. Your assigned covered private parking spot is steps away from the residence. Guest parking for additional vehicles is available.
After your journey to Hawaii, central air conditioning, nice bathrooms, and comfortable furniture feel good. Of course, cold water, beers, and coffee are in the main refrigerator waiting for your arrival.
The master bedroom is upstairs, and it has its own bathroom and private lanai. Furnishings include an excellent California king with a variety of pillows and an inversion table, which is just what your body needs after a long flight.
The guest bedroom downstairs also has a very comfortable California king. In that room, there is an inflatable bed, futons, extra pillows, and blankets. People always seem to choose the living room couch. This place is comfortable.
The downstairs bathroom has two sinks, a full bathtub, a Japanese toilet, and heated towel racks. A full first-aid kit with everything from sunscreen and analgesics to sutures is under the counter between the sinks.
Both of the bedrooms and the kitchen are often used as workspaces. The wifi is excellent. You have a printer/scanner/fax and office supplies. Swimming between tasks is the done thing.
Your kitchen is well-equipped. It has two sinks, a stove, an oven, a microwave, and an air fryer. You can even sous vide steaks before putting them on one of the gas grills outside.
The in-unit washer and dryer are excellent. Laundry soaps are provided, and so is a folding table.
The lanai downstairs has a wet bar.
The living room contains a huge sectional reclining couch that I have woken up on many times, having fallen asleep watching movies on the state of the art 64” OLED equipped with Netflix, Prime, a PlayStation 5 and even whatever else you want to cast to the screen.
There are surfboards, pickle balls, golf clubs, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and video games.
These toys are at the entrance, in the living room, and there are fishing poles in the lanai closet.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any special issues, questions, or requests. Your host is a waterman and an airman. Call us, and we will make it right. We have many favorite spots to eat, visit, and do things. We are happy to help and answer any questions you have before and after your stay.

About the host
Hosted by KayLee Stidham

Your principal contact is KayLee, who has lived in Kona for the last three years. She manages a gym and loves the outdoors. KayLee manages this property for John Todd. John is a surfer and diver. He is rated for flying helicopters, airplanes, and paragliders. We are always here to help with any issues, questions or concerns. Call us and we will make it right.
Why they chose this property
Keauhou is historically important. Keauhou has energy. Kids goof around in the water of Keauhou Bay as volley ball is played and outrigger canoes and fishing boats come and go. You can see brave surfers on the "Jurassics" break in front of Kanaloa, or beginning on the point break catch waves that go from left to right all the way to the shore of Heeia Bay. As the sun gorgeously sets, action yields to relaxation. This is a special place.
What makes this property unique
Kanaloa is fantastic. I am very familiar with units throughout the complex. This unit is nicer because it is larger, more comfortably furnished, and has a better setting than many of the others.
