The Farmhaus - rustic 1800s homestead sleeps 12

Built in 1819 and located steps away from one of the oldest dwellings in Erie County, the Farmhaus invites guests to step back in time and enjoy its rustic charm and spacious layout. Beautifully decorated to match its beginnings, this home features original woodwork, a large yard, and updated kitchen and baths.

The space
The home's first floor includes an updated kitchen and large dining area, full bath with updated amenities, game room (with a pool table and foosball table, board games, and queen size pull-out couch) and a historic "summer kitchen" (lounge).

The second floor features a renovated full bathroom and three large bedrooms with a total of six beds, including one trundle bed and a roll-away.

One of the Farmhaus' top features is its sprawling yard. The summer kitchen walks out onto a brick patio with lounge and dining furniture and a view of the home's original brick smokehouse. The circular driveway offers ample parking for any number of visitors.

Our stay at the farmhouse

It was a great stay, beautiful home as well as a great location. Communication with home owners was very good and they were extremely nice, even leaving us cookies! Overall great experience and great house.

Fantastic Family Reunion Place

We came from Chicago and had a dinner for local family to celebrate our daughter’s engagement. Plenty of room, lots of seating and conversation areas, and we finished the night with a bonfire. Couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs! Terrific communication and hospitality.

The house had everything we were looking for. Tastefully furnished house with a very well stocked game room, a nice fire pit etc. Melisse is a great host and communicated everything very nicely we will definitely come here again.

This property is perfectly set up to host large groups for over night stays, lots of great things to do (fire pit, Cornhole, large tables for games etc, pool tables...). The hosts are very welcoming and great communication throughout. Highly recommended!!

Family wedding

The property is beautiful! If you love history and beauty you will love this property. We wanted something close to Clarence where we have family and close to Niagra Falls! Buffalo was so amazing as well, rich in history. This property was perfect! Close to restaurants and there are many things to keep you busy.

Wedding Weekend

Eclipse Gathering

The host was accommodating and responsive. The property was perfect for a large group with plenty of space to spread out both inside the house and outside in the yard. It would have been helpful to know the sizes of the beds in each bedroom in order to plan sleeping arrangements. Overall, the kitchen was well appointed, there were adequate linens, and there was sufficient seating in the dining room/kitchen.

Wow! A truly unique, relaxing, family environment

My son was married nearby at the Timberlodge. So family and friends dropped by. The Farmhaus had just a few platters and serving dishes, but it was everything we needed!!! The long dining room table allowed the groom (& guests) to play card games, etc. The pool and foosball tables broke down barriers. Such joy and fun!!! A unique experience we will likely never forget!!
