This is our serving stay, and we lived it this time and plan to stay here every time we're in town. We love our hosts. They're accessible, friendly, and so very accommodating. The apartment is clean and just like a good two-bedroom 2 bath apartment. There's a full kitchen and plenty of pots, pans, and kitchen dishes. It's a great place stay! We highly recommend it.
Hosts accommodated travel dates changes because baby arrived early. It was an extended stay so it was super nice to have a washer and dryer. The apartment is spacious. It had full kitchen which we used mainly for breakfast. As noted in others comments, it is a basement apartment so we heard walking etc from main floor, but we expected that.
We felt the apartment ticked all of our boxes. Generously sized, comfortable beds, great kitchen (we cooked all of our meals), off street parking, nice neighborhood. We will definitely book this place again.
This is a great find. We look for places to stay near our grandchildren, and this place is perfect. This place is like a two-bedroom apartment with an oven, dishwasher, and full-sized refrigerator. The decor is great; the beds are comfortable, and most importantly our hosts were lovely and very accessible. Highly rrcommend this VRBO.
We were a little confused at first as far as where our entrance was (finished walk-out basement). We also weren't sure how to lock the door but we figured it out. Other similiar locations leave a letter of some sort telling us how to leave the property--strip the beds? Pile up the towels? Run the dishwasher? Where to take the trash? So we stripped the beds, put the towels in a pile near the laundry area. The trash was all bundled up in the kitchen but we didn't take it out because we didn't know where to go with it.
Place was clean and spacious. We were in Denver for a week long conference. Property ended up being a little far from where the conference was due to Toll roads being the only quick option. Very expensive to use, even some locals said they don't use them for that reason. Not the host's fault but something that would have been good to know. Only thing to consider is the noise above you from the Main house as the owner and family live there. It was quite noticeable at random times throughout the day and night. Other than that it worked out for us as needed.
The living area is very large with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen and living room. The unit was very clean and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The location was perfect for our stay.
Nice property with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen. It worked out perfect for us as we stayed a week to participate in USATF Regional Meet at Cherokee Trails HS which was about 1 mile away. Check-in and out was easy, neighborhood was great, and the rental was relatively quiet while being on lower level of property with owners on floors above.
This is a roomy private apartment located in an excellent neighborhood. A large shopping mall is ver close and a major highway that goes to downtown Denver. During our stay Aurora had record cold temperatures and the owner was most helpful in making us comfortable. Having off street parking is a plus.
Well....you get what you pay for! This was the most disappointing stay in my MANY stays with VRBO properties.First let me say the property was clean. My sister and I arrived around 7:30pm.The streets were SO DARK we had trouble finding the house #We even tried to call the owners #, to make sure we were at the right house, but didn't get an answer til 30min after we were in.We FINALLY found the house, There was a dimly lit set of steps going down to the basement property. If those steps had been displayed in a picture....I would never had chosen this property, as they were extremely hard to manage. I'm 73 and am in good shape except for a bad knee, so having to drag luggage down a dimly lit set of stairs was a unexpected. Property was clean and Spartan, as expected, but NO instructions about TV operations, other than a cursory text from the owner. No info AT ALL about a "pin" # before we could watch any streaming TV.Had to call the owner AGAIN, got the pin# but never did get it to work!We left 2 days early. This place is fine.....IF you arrive when the sun is still up, you don't care about a TV or being able to get ahold of the owners in a timely manner for important matters.
The apartment itself was very roomy, lots of space and private entrance. However, you could hear all the activity that happened upstairs, stomping, loud voices, outside of the quiet hours. There was a headband on the side of the bed that did not belong to us. The toaster almost caught fire, but the owner replaced it right away. We never received any check out details.
We were in town for a soccer tournament at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and we wanted something quiet but still relatively close to the fields. This rental was about 30-40 minutes away with a lot of open driving (Gun Club Road, etc) to get there. Here is some of what we liked: 1) The host was friendly and responsive. 2) The place is very spacious. 3) Comfortable, not cheap, linens 4) Small appliances in the kitchen were nice. 5) WalMart groceries were a five minute drive away. 6) The Aurora Reservoir was a 10-15 minute walk away, with as much walking as you want to do once you arrived. 7) The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the walk-out backyard feels secluded enough. We drove over to Red Rocks to check that out--that was about a 45 minute drive fyi. It was the right mix of what we were looking for.
