This cute waterfront cottage lake has everything you need for a perfect affordable vacation by the lake and located less than 3 miles from Boyne City. Comfortable bed, stocked kitchenette, washer/dryer, desk, Wi-Fi and fireplace! Its cozy, clean and comfortable without the high price of lakefront rental property. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. One bedroom with a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed. There is also a Queen sofa sleeper on main floor. Guests also have your own private beach area with lounge chairs.

Absolutely perfect getaway cottage

We (college best friends) stayed here in June and it was amazing. Perfect location, cottage was the ideal mix of clean and updated but still has the "your grandparents' place up north" feel to it. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect cottage

The cutest little cottage across the street from the lake. It even has its own little beach! Clean, well appointed with everything you could need. Loved our stay!

We loved this cute and cozy yellow cottage! It had so much charm and a beautiful view of the lake. Our only challenge was getting the bedroom upstairs cool. The fan helped, but it was still warm at times. Also, the bathroom was very small. It worked well for us, but would be difficult if someone has mobility challenges. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect lakeside cottage!

The cottage was the perfect size for our little family and so perfectly located just outside of downtown Boyne City and right in front of the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Yellow cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well-equiped with amentities and warmth. The owners are so personable and welcoming. It would have been wonderful to have an overhang on the front of the house to be able to go outside when it was raining. View was beautiful

Rare Gem

This is a fantastic little cottage to get away from it all! Open the windows for a nice breeze or walk across the street for a dip in gorgeous Lake Charlevoix. Owners are incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our trip extraordinary! Trip to DT Charlevoix and Petoskey is only about 20 minutes, so it's a great central location. Take the Sunset sail boat cruise - totally worth it! The Vue has great wine and it's right on the channel into Lake Michigan! Already looking at dates to come back next year!

The breeze of the lake and the coziness of this house makes this place a hidden gem. Perfect for a small family or a couples getaway. Excellent location and great value.

What makes this property unique

This rental has lake access but there is no dock or boat hoist available. Its perfect if you just want to bring a canoe or kayak or if you're in to just relaxing by the lake with a great view. Just a 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain resort, 5 minute drive to downtown Boyne City. Great hiking, biking and boating area. Nice shops and restaurants very close by. Petoskey and Charlevoix 2 minutes away. Take a day trip to Mackinac Island or Harbor Springs. So many activities to do in the area....something for everybody.
