We had a good time at this location. It was just what we needed. I fished from the balcony, and I got a great hit from a good-sized Trout. We really enjoyed this location.

Hi Paul, thank you for sharing your 5 Star Experience with us and others! We hope to have you as our guest again in the near future!
Property was well-maintained, very clean and properly stocked. Deck overlooking Fightingtown Creek was fabulous and the screen porch was a favorite.
Bed downstairs was a bit too soft for our tastes but others may like a soft bed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and others! We hope to have you as our guests again in the near future.
Our family had a wonderful time bringing the New Year in at this cozy cabin! Minutes to downtown, and not too far from downtown Blue Ridge! So many cute shops and delicious restaurants near by, and lots of activities to keep the children entertained! We enjoyed gem mining and Mercier Orchards, but our favorite was the hot tub and fire pit at the cabin! Thank you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent 5 Star Experience with us and others! We hope to have you as our guests again soon!
Cabin was nice looking and clean, only problems we had was the floor was creaky EVERYWHERE we walked on the first floor. And second, would have been nice to have a sponge to clean the pots and pans.

Thanks for sharing your review Patricia. Not a lot we can do about creaky floors. This is the 1st time anyone has brought that to our attention. There should have been a kitchen sponge in the box of supplies left on the kitchen counter. If there was not one in there I apologize, it was an oversight. We hope you can come stay again in the near future!
We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a better place! The cabin was extremely clean, homey, & had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable & fun! The hot tub was very nice to use when it got cooler in the evenings. The downstairs bed was super soft. The screened porch made it possible to lay in bed & listen to the water in the creek. It was perfect for our relaxing weekend away! We will definitely be back!

Thank you for sharing your 5 Star Experience Laura! We hope to have you as our guest again in the near future!
This property was perfect for what we wanted. We love isolation from crowds and enjoy nature. This provided, but yet 10 minutes to a cute and upcoming town. The cabin has everything. We accident my bought coffee beans and just knew we were done. But up in the cabinet, was small coffee grinder.. perfect. Had to call property manager once for a question, no problem, answers questioned quickly and all resolved. And this property is definely pet friendly. We will visit again.

We left after a couple hours, horrible smell/odor. All three guests were having reactions, with teary eyes, headache, sneezing etc, even small dog started having respiratory issues. Paid for 3 nights, did not stay over. Reached out to booking agent for partial refund, we were told no refunds. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Guest called a few days prior to check in requesting to cancel but she had not purchased insurance and she was already within in window for no refunds to cancel. She called to say that her daughter and a friend would be coming in her place and we were fine with that. After we were notified that guest had left for odor issues, we immediately sent someone over to check it out and no odor was detected. There were guests at the cabin prior to and after this stay and we have yet to get any complaints about any odor, on the contrary, both guests left 5 Star Reviews. We do apologize that this trip was not what you had hoped for.

The window in the kitchen was missing a blind so we made acover out of a trash bag for it. Pet food was found under counters.Mgmt was contacted ad notified.

Hi Robert, we are disappointed that your stay was not what you were hoping for. As we discussed with you, this cabin has a pest control service and there has never been an issue with roaches in the past. We sent someone out as soon as we were notified of the issue. Yes, there was a blind that was missing, one was on order and it has been installed. This cabin is very popular and it gets great reviews so this was definitely not expected. The grill is very new, a nice Weber Gas Grill and it works great. We do apologize that you had any issues but glad we were able to jump on them quickly in an effort to resolve. Thanks
I felt like the property was very over priced for what it actually is. Its a great cabin and spot just not what we thought it would be. While on a stock trout stream, its not privately stock which gicen the cost of the place i expected. Trophy trout stream is true but theres better fishing spots on public land. Your ciew is of a gorgeous creek, however there are three houses on the other side and your looking right into their living rooms. Far too many cameras and keep out signs, home depot construction, and way too many "rules". Inclusing having to send a lucture of myself holding my drivers license to the rental agency. Thats too much. All in all would bot reccomend this place. Stay if a nicer cabin with mtn view and use the mobey youll save to go fish in one of theany far beeter fishing spots.

We certainly are disappointed that the property is not what you were expecting or hoping for. We try to be transparent with the photo's on our website and of course if privacy was something you were looking for, a quick phone call would have clarified any concerns you may have had. The other cabins are not close enough that you are looking into their living rooms, you can see the cabins but they are across the river and an aerial of the property including those cabins is shown on our website. Regardless, thank you for your review and again, sorry this was not what you were looking for.
