The best of London at your doorstep
There’s a reason South Kensington is one of the most sought-after areas in London - it’s elegant, safe, full of charm and absolutely packed with things to do. Staying here means you're right in the middle of it all, with world-famous attractions, luxury shopping, leafy green spaces and a buzzing café culture just minutes from your door.
You're in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea – home to royalty, artists and tastemakers for generations. Just up the road, the King’s Road in Chelsea is a style destination in its own right, brimming with designer boutiques, upmarket interiors shops, artisan cafés and independent labels. It’s where Londoners go when they want cool without the crowds.
Foodie? You’ll be spoiled. South Kensington has some of London’s best restaurants – from Michelin-starred hotspots to tucked-away neighbourhood gems. Whether it’s a relaxed brunch, romantic dinner, or cocktails with friends, you’re spoilt for choice.
Love culture? You're steps away from the Natural History Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum. Walk a little further and you’ll hit the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, and the Saatchi Gallery.

Add in quick transport links to the West End, Covent Garden and beyond, and you’ve got the perfect London base. Stylish, central and oh-so South Ken.

About the host
Hosted by Ms Jay Hunt

We are experienced hosts who love sharing our home. We have rented a property in the Cotswolds for many years and now in 2024 we are having visitors at our London property. We have owned the property for nearly 30 years and love the house and our neighbourhood and can't want for you to experience it too.
Why they chose this property
We chose South Kensington as it has such great links to everywhere and still retains a village feel. It is cosmopolitan and we love being able to go to local markets and shops that have a really European feel. The choice of shopping and restaurants really is the best in London and it is so near to the West End for theatre and all our local museums and concert halls always have something exciting to showcase
What makes this property unique
Our property is very special as it provides a quiet space and a wonderful garden but is right in the middle of where you want to be. We travel a lot and we want to provide our guests with what we value when we are away, a lovely space with luxury touches and everything ready for you to step into so you don't waste any time doing boring jobs in a new place you want to explore. We provide a level of comfort that we would want if we were guests in our own home!
