RustRidge House, two bedroom two bath home

This is a two bedroom two bath house on a large ranch with a vineyard, winery and thoroughbred racehorses and lots of areas to explore. The RustRidge House overlooks the vineyard and is close to the county road but backs up to the forest. The approach is a paved uphill driveway. There is an outdoor staircase that leads to the entrance. The dining area, living area and kitchen are an open floor plan with lots of windows, high ceiling and hardwood floors. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining room table is also a comfortable work space. The wraparound living room has two couches and a wall mounted TV. The bedrooms are decorated with a Southwest and Native American theme. The bathrooms have earth tones and tile floors. There is a wrap around deck with access by sliding glass doors. The space has its own wifi, streaming TV and an electric fireplace.

Friendly folks who give you a big breakfast in the morning. There's no A/C, but you can plug a surprisingly fast ice machine in for a cold drink, and really the ceiling fans are enough. The power went out (PG&E, ugh) but it came back in about an hour. It is a rare occurrence so I guess we got lucky. They gave us some lights just in case.The only thing that did bother me was the broken screens. The screens on the doors seem off the rails, and the window above our bed had a bent screen with a wasp nest in it. The evening air was perfect and there was a nice breeze so it would have been nice to open them.Anyway, we petted the dogs and the horses and only stayed a night just to rest before heading home. We had a nice neighbor just next door (across the porch in an unconnected smaller house/room).The house creaks amazingly. You may or may not enjoy it. We thought it was charming. It was kind of alive.
