Wow, what a place!!!! My family and I fell in love with this home immediately. It felt so homey, cozy and have every single thing you could possibly need. The pool is fantastic and the waterfall sound is so relaxing. All the outdoor touches made it such an enjoyable experience. The home is massive so you have alot of space to spread out. The garden was also a lovely touch as well as the hot tub and game room. We are already planning on coming back next summer!!!!

Melanie,
Thank you so much for your review. We’re so happy that you and your family enjoyed your stay! We look forward to seeing you again next summer!!
We chose this property for a small family gathering to celebrate my grandmother's birthday and we couldn't have been happier. The house is large enough that we didn't feel on top of each other constantly, but still felt cozy. The grounds gave us lots of outdoor time (when the weather cooperated) and incredible privacy, while still being close enough to do anything in town we wanted. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were wonderfully accommodating for us. Overall an excellent stay and my family made wonderful memories. 10/10, strongly recommend staying at Stone Manor to make memories of your own :)
All i can say is that the pictures don’t do any justice to this home. The attention to details by the owners where beyond anything i have even experiences staying at a hotel. From the extra lines to decorations to even the aromas around this home were excellent. My family and i spent a weekend at this home and we didnt want to leave!! There is such a cozy, relax feeling in this place that can not be described. Not to mention all the family activities that can be done without leaving the home. Wish much success to the owner and will surely plan another trip here!

As another review said, the pictures do not do this property justice. It is absolutely stunning! Our family of 6 stayed for several nights, and we hosted my extended family for Thanksgiving. The house is beautifully decorated, and the seasonal touches made it perfect for the holiday. Before seeing it in person, I was afraid it would be a bit tight with so many people since it's a historic home, but it was not at all. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet it still feels cozy. We took advantage of the pub, game room, theater, wood burning fireplace, and the hot tub. The house is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are beautiful, and the beds warm and comfy. We had a wonderful stay. We hope to come back in the summer to see the gorgeous grounds in full bloom!

Kathryn,
Thank you for taking the time to send a review. We are so happy that your family got to enjoy Thanksgiving at the Stone Manor. The house is so wonderful for family gatherings. We love that we’re able to share it with families like yours. Thank you for taking such good care of the house and we really hope to host you again in the summer months!!
We loved this property and all the amenities! We were lucky to have fantastic weather and were in the pool a lot. We enjoyed the screened in porch for conversation and a jigsaw puzzzle. The outdoor bar is great and my daughter served up some great cocktails and mocktails! Our last night we made homemade pizza and ate at the large farm table overlooking the pool on one side and the sunset at the other side. We also watched a movie in the theater room. Oh… and we also made s’mores at the fire pit. The fenced garden is lovely and picked a few tomatoes and some lettuce. Can’t say enough about the huge, well-equipped kitchen. We had a local caterer for our matriarch’s 93rd bday. Beds were comfortable. Many sitting areas for separate conversations both inside and out. The grounds are gorgeous with meticulous landscaping and magical solar lighting. Had a dance party too. I could go on and on. Very private.

Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear your family enjoyed your stay & that the weather was great for the pool use. We appreciate you taking such good care of the property & we hope to see you again!
This is NOT a house for children under 10. The house itself is magnificent. The pool is in a beautiful setting except for the fact it’s not heated and the handrail when you get into the pool is not stable. The rail wobbles all over the place you feel like you’re gonna fall over. And the bugs are everywhere inside and outside. You can’t even sit outside on a lounge chair and relax because the bees, the wasps, the teeny Winnie bees, black flies and the mosquitoes you can not relax and enjoy your magnificent surroundings. There was no heads up to come prepared for this. If you go and it is beautiful, make sure you bring lots of candles of mint smells and citronella candles so you can lay them everywhere outside to help keep the bees and other bugs away. We tried numerous different types of bug spray, deet, Colombian necktie, citronella, baby, safe and off spray, and none of them kept the bugs away. Inside the house there were spiders flies wasps we took turns killing them. It wasn’t indicated with them, but they were all there present. This is a place to go for adults in my opinion who want to get away and not have to leave the property. hire a chef to come in and cook for you or to cook yourselves, grill some steaks or fish whatever you like they have every amenities there for cooking and grilling plus numerous eating areas. And two hot tubs.

Jan,
We’re very sorry to hear of your rating 6 out of 10. Unfortunately, we cannot control nature, weather, or outdoor bugs
As far as the heater No pool heater was ever mentioned in our description however, for those in the future, a heater is to be installed next season 2026. I hope you were satisfied with the communication being that you texted, called and emailed at least once a day to which we responded promptly. As you mentioned yourself, the house is magnificent. It is over 200 years old made of stone therefore occasional you could have a spider or a bee during the summer months.
