Adorable apartment close to Traverse City in a beautiful farm setting

Cozy studio apartment on a lovely farm setting and convenient location.
Completely renovated in summer 2022, this studio features a combined sleeping and living area in a room full of windows. Has a queen size bed and queen pull out couch available. The room faces South and West allowing plenty of sunlight through all of the windows. All nine windows include cordless blinds for privacy. The kitchenette includes stove, microwave, and large refrigerator, and a dining area. Bathroom has a sink and vanity, standup shower, and toilet.
Conveniently located 7 miles from Grand Traverse Bay, 14 miles to the beautiful Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, minutes to the large all sports Long Lake, and approximately 10 minutes to the quaint village of Cedar where you can enjoy homemade meats year-round and the annual polka festival in the summertime.
For the equestrian, we have 2 10x12 indoor stalls available that open up to 10 acres of fenced in pasture.
This 18 acre farm boasts a century old majestic barn built on property that was given to the original owner by president Abraham Lincoln on a land grant after the Civil War. Lots of history here! The property is adjacent to Light of Day organic tea farm where you can walk the grounds and purchase many varieties of delicious teas.

What an amazing place to stay. Freshly married couple that absolutely loved this farm setting. Seemingly 20 or so minutes from everywhere we wanted to go and the decor was stunning. Petting the beautiful horses was so cool as well. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

Could not have asked for a better rental. Located close enough to Traverse and the surrounding area, but well enough out of the city to be peaceful. Absolutely adorable. The kids loved feeding a couple carrots to the resident horses and playing with the extremely rambunctious barn kittens. Host was quick to respond. Price was fair, especially when compared to the average boring hotel stay in the city. Overall we would highly recommend.

The perfect setting for a relaxing upnorth getaway. Close enough to downtown TC but with a quiet country setting. The place was very clean and up to date and the perfect size for 2 adults and a small dog. Bed was comfortable and the grounds were so quiet. The horses next door will greet you and they are so friendly. There are some great wineries near by with beautiful views, highly recommend the Rove winery down the road. Just a short drive to the Sleeping Bear dunes/hikes/and beaches and the weather was mild, warm and beautiful for June. Just a recommendation to bring toiletries and coffee pods for the Keurig.

This is a lovely apartment in the country on a horse farm. The horses were just outside the home. Check-in was clear and understandable. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen had all things you would want to eat in. The decor was beautifully done. We enjoyed the added blankets on couch and bed for we had chilly evenings. TV was a plus with most anything you would watch. Couch was comfy and cozy. Katy was easy to reach out to and made sure we had whatever we needed. I would stay here the next time we come back to Empire Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Traverse City was close about 8 miles.You will enjoy your special time here.

We loved our week at the Red Barn Rental! It had everything we needed amenity wise, and being on the peaceful property next to horses and chickens was amazing. The location was also great, close to town and between all of the sites we wanted to see. We hope to come back!

Perfect location for a getaway

This little farm was the perfect location for my sisters' weekend getaway! Close to Traverse City, Leelanau, and Sleeping Bear, and yet a peaceful retreat from busy days. Very comfortable and clean living space.

Beautiful stay

This was the perfect spot for our mini vacation with our family! Comfortable and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home! The setting is beautiful and quiet on the farm. Just a few minutes from our favorite winery up north. We loved everything about our stay! Can’t wait to book another stay!

Serene oasis on beautiful horse farm

This was my second time staying at the Rosas. The cottage is great, quiet and comfortable with easy access to TC and everything the Leelanau has to offer. Highly recommend!

Great spot for our trip

We had a great stay in the little farmhouse cottage. It was easy access to both Traverse City for the Cherry Festival and Empire and Sleeping Bear dunes. The bed was comfortable for us, our 7 year old slept in the couch and our 18-month old slept in a pack-n-play. Would happily stay here again the next time we're in town!

Modern Farmhouse Getaway

Tastefully decorated and comfortable stay in a relaxed farm setting. Close to downtown Traverse, great winery and tea farm. We just loved the space, setting and outdoor area. Nice, quiet and private. Highly recommend for a couple with a dog. We will definitely be back!

Delightful accommodations to start the summer

What a great place and location to stay. The unit was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of home. The location was perfect as we were in town for the Bayshore 1/2 Marathon in Traverse City and explored Suttons Bay as well. Katy was a great host and the property was very peaceful and quiet. Excellent!!! Kitchen well stocked with the essentials! So cozy, clean and comfortable! Nicely decorated! The hosts were awesome! Kind, gracious and helpful! The location was so quiet and peaceful!
