Amber was great and very responsive when communicating. The property was a great get away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything we needed. Hot water was great!

We enjoyed the cozy quiet atmosphere and everything about the house was great. The host did a fantastic job with making sure you felt welcomed and at home.
Had a nice time seeing family in Bells, Texas. Stayed here for the second time. Great little place to get away and not be bothered. Easy drive to Bells, Bonham, Denison Love it
Kids and I loved the foosball table and walking the property. The coffee was delicious and we enjoyed the kitchen to make pancakes and the fire pit to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Loved that the cellular data only came in enough to look up things to do so the kids would enjoy the cabin and nature. Thanks for hosting us!
My family and I rented the Cabin for a Christmas getaway and we were SO impressed and had the BEST time!! Highly recommend! The property manager was so sweet and even put a Christmas tree up for us! Will definitely book another stay!!
It was perfect!! Our family had a great time with fires and hotdogs, bbq burgers, games indoor and outdoors. The memories that were made are priceless!! Cabin in the Woods is a great place for family to hang out and relax!!!
Thank you, Cabin in the Woods, for your hospitality!!
Renting with Amber was an easy experience. She answered all of my questions when I needed and had no problems. Great place to stay when you need to get out of the city but close to one when you need it.
Outdoor space is great, really beautiful. Nice refrigerator and kitchen space. Comfortable master bed. The other room with bunk beds not used but really only made for children. No door on master bath but the other hallway bath is good to go. No TV which is actually ok with me, reading and outdoor family time was much needed without electronic distractions. We will be back for sure.
The host was very respectful and very good at communicating and seemed to be very friendly, the only issue that I had was the AC. It worked well during the night time, but during the day the home temperature would get up to 80° even with it on. But other then that, I enjoyed the stay and had a good time.
The cabin was great. Just a few things to know.
Warning; no internet and weak signal from the cellular carriers.
And, it's really hot in Texas right now, 100+ F in July and August. The air conditioning had trouble keeping the temperature in the house down. Other times of year, I'm sure it's fine.
Lastly, Denison closes down EARLY on Sunday. We had trouble finding dinner at 7:00 PM.

Okay, not great
It was my fault for assuming that there would be tv service because I saw a picture of a tv. You could only mirror your phone to the tv but, there was no remote for the tv and the internet service was so enormously spotty that I couldn't even use my phone for most anything. Any communication with the owner took forever unless I went to town for better reception. The entrance leans when you walk in and the whole place looks like it needs some upgrading. Overall, it was alright if you want complete and total silence and peace.
My family and I really enjoyed staying in this cabin. It’s good for relaxation and intense family time. We spent most of our time outside walking the trails or by the bonfire very beautiful place to stay.
If you love old, renovated houses, this is for you. Original hardwood floors, wooden beams for the ceiling, antique furniture, yet upgraded bathrooms that are just lively. There us no wi-fi, but don't let rha3 discourage you, this property is so peaceful & quiet, and is a great space for families or couples. The wall of windows looking out to the trees is perfect!! Would stay here again!!
We stayed at this beautiful property in Denison, Texas, for Thanksgiving while visiting our oldest daughter, her husband, and our two grandbabies, along with celebrating our oldest son’s birthday. The house was perfect for our family! We truly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, the spacious property, and the wonderful amenities.
The burn pit was a favorite for gathering and relaxing, and the games provided were a fantastic addition, keeping everyone entertained. It was the ideal setting for creating family memories during the holiday.
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property! If it’s available, we would definitely love to stay again during future visits to see our daughter.

Why they chose this property
You want to get away from the city life? This is the place. You want the kids to disconnect? Very limited reception out there. You planning a guided fishing trip out of Lake Texoma? Stay here. Sit by a campfire. Slow down. Relax. Enjoy the nature.
What makes this property unique
Surrounded by wildlife and nature. While on the trails, look for animal dens and tracks. You might get lucky and find some deer sheds. At night you'll hear several country sounds. Bull frogs. Owls. Coyotes. Several deer roam the property. Armadillos roam at night. So peaceful.
