Our team is available at all times and would have been happy to address any concerns with the air conditioning or lighting during your visit—this is the first feedback we’ve received regarding the AC, but we’ll certainly inspect it right away. The outdoor lights are operated by indoor switches, and we appreciate your note; we’ll be adding switch locations to our digital guest guide to make them easier for future guests to find. Regarding the power outage, the entire tri-city area experienced an unexpected loss of service that also temporarily knocked out both our office phones and cell reception. We completely understand how frustrating that can be and are glad the outage lasted less than three hours. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve every guest’s experience at Driftwood.

Driftwood was fully cleaned just a few days prior to your arrival, and our team refreshed the home again the morning of check-in, including floors, dusting, cobweb removal, and outdoor spaces. This time of year, spiders can be especially active as the weather cools, and webs can reappear quickly even after cleaning. Our team is available around the clock, and our office is located right next door — we’re always happy to assist right away should anything fall short of expectations.
