Marfa is home to this apartment. Marfa and Presidio County Museum and Ballroom Marfa are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Wassermann Wranch and Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center and Botanical Garden.
The property was in a perfect location for exploring Marfa and the surrounding areas. The porch was the perfect place to wind down after our adventures. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were large and the beds comfy. Loved staying in a historic building that was built for the railroad…especially when the trains went by!! Would definitely stay there again!!
Our stay was perfect! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk everywhere very easily for all our meals and shopping. It was truly the perfect location. The host was quick to respond to our questions and checkout was a breeze. We definitely want to stay here again!
The Bandolero suite at Marfa House is an outstanding space centrally located in Marfa. It’s a narrow suite with bedrooms at opposite ends with a full kitchen and living room in the middle. It is a great room (apartment) for four people. Guests do have access to a shared balcony perfect for early morning coffee or a late night drink. The place is secured with electronic locks to get into the building and into the suite. Beds are comfortable with soft linens and pillows. Little did I know one could rent directly from Marfa House, so the next time I go there I will definitely rent straight from them. Dealing with the onsite staff as well as those that secured my booking was easy and with great communication. The only thing missing from the suite was wash cloths and an iron and ironing board, but luckily onsite staff brought us both and completed the stay. There is a lobby downstairs with tons of art and info about Marfa and Big Ben’s. They even have an onsite gallery with local artists’ renderings on display. It’s hard to imagine that the building itself is over 100 years old as everything inside is modern and comfortable. A definite return for me and my family.
