Mom’s weekend visiting my Auburn student

I came in town from OOS to visit my daughter that attends Auburn. The property is so close to where she lives and walking distance to everything we did throughout the weekend. This property is so cute and so clean. I will absolutely stay here again. The owners were so helpful with any questions I had.

Fabulous Condo in Auburn

This property is so beautiful! It is so clean and well equipped with everything you need. It was also very close to everything we needed in Auburn. My sister and I could not quit complementing how beautifully decorated and well cared for this condo was for our stay. We will definitely stay there again.

Condo was beautiful. Train came by at night about four times (but did not bother me as I grew up with train tracks across the street from my grandmothers house and we had no A/C so you slept with the window open during the summer.) Very close to campus which is handy. Only problem is we did not get to stay long enough in Auburn. Would rebook again.

Nicely updated condo in great location!

I had a great stay at this condo for my son's fraternity mom's weekend! Easy walk to campus and downtown Auburn. The condo was really nicely updated, bright, clean and comfortable! The only thing I need to mention, neither good nor bad, is that this condo backs up to the freight train tracks and that train rolls through Auburn, whistle blaring, several times throughout the middle of the night. so if you are sensitive to noise, maybe some earplugs are a good idea!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! We love it and it being walkable to all things Auburn! All condo complexes located on West Glenn ( there are many!) back up to the train tracks. I have been renting out my condo for 3 years through different platforms and this is the first comment about the trains sounds that I have received. I stay there monthly and have never heard a whistle blaring and have rarely heard it pass in the middle of the night and I’m a very light sleeper !🤪

Great location for walking to Auburn campus, too loud from train

This was a perfect location to visit our daughter at Auburn Village dorms and attend the football game, short walk. Unfortunately, as the owners do disclose, the train comes by @ a half dozen + times a day. It is literally 30 feet from the condo. Blows its horn a good 5 minutes coming and going, especially annoying at 2 and 5 am. The home is nicely decorated. Big fluffy white towels in the bath, but no hand towels? Keurig coffee maker, but no sweetener or creamer. No cable TV. Its all streaming. Spent hours trying to figure out how to get the GA/FL game. Somehow we got it in the master bedroom, but couldn't get it in their living room. So frustrating. A guide would be really helpful. The balcony overlooked the dumpster, parking lot and train, and was filthy, and very difficult to open the door.

Laura started complaining before she arrived at our condo. I should have seen the red flags before I allowed her to rent from me. Per her complaints from this review: 1. Train noise- As stated in my listing, all condos in Auburn that are on Glenn Avenue(basically all condos that are by campus) back up to the train tracks and are exposed to trains coming through. Its unpredictable but when they do pass through its very quick. And no, Laura- they didn't come by at least half a dozen times a day and they have never blown a horn 5 minutes coming and going. It is also not 30 feet from the condo as you stated. 2. Hand towels- We had 4 hand towels in the drawer in the bathroom during your stay. My housekeeper confirmed this when she arrive after you departed. 3. Cable tv- We state in our listing that we do not have cable, but offer all streaming services, therefore you knew before you arrived that we didn't have cable. 4. Coffee sweetener/creamer- We are not a hotel. I provided plenty of Starbucks coffee pods as a courtesy to you. 5. Our balcony does NOT overlook a dumpster. The sliding glass door is very simple to open. Laura, I'm sorry you were not happy with your stay. As you can tell from my other reviews, I have NEVER had a complaint until you. That speaks volumes!
