About this property

Spacious limestone 3 bedroom house located just minutes from downtown, the YUM! Center and many bourbon distilleries. Experience all that southern Indiana and Louisville have to offer. A short Uber ride to 4th Street Live among other nightlife activities. Close to many restaurants, shopping malls and the 3rd largest Bass Pro shop. Large backyard and private driveway. Dining room seats 6 comfortably. Third bedroom is upstairs and contains a full bed and a twin bed. Upstairs also included half bath. Relax on the sunroom for games, work a puzzle or enjoy a glass of wine. Stay comfortably in an open floor plan with many places to relax and spend time with family. Security camera installed above the garage door. This is the house I grew up in and we take care of it with a personal interest. If you want to rest your head in a clean house in a quiet neighborhood without paying for extra frills, this house is your best value.

Just what we needed and more.

Very nice stay. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and even stuff we didn’t but was there and available if we had. The hosts thought of everything that might be needed.

Great place to stay for AAU weekend!

We were fortunate enough to find this sweet home after a last minute AAU schedule change, and we are so thankful! The home is within ten minutes of the Kentucky Expo Center in a quiet neighborhood that provides close access to several stores for supplies. The floor plan allows for privacy and space for everyone after a long day. The only thing that was a hiccup was the lack of a washer and dryer. I did not read the listing closely enough, so I wanted to be sure to say that in the review. There is a laundromat fairly close by, but we just opted to hand wash uniforms and hang them to dry. If we’re back this way, we’d love to stay again. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful Home Away from Home!

This home was exactly as the listing showed! It was clean, smelled good and very inviting! Definitely recommend this property to anyone! We had 2 adults, 17, 16, 14 & 3 year old… plenty of room for everyone! Also very nice to have off street parking!

Great stay

I booked this property several months in advance for the eclipse so my parents and my partner's parents could see the eclipse and spend some time together. It was very special for all of us! The property is exactly as described. Very cute, comfortable, and homey. We had 6 adults for a short stay, which was perfect. We all fit comfortably in the living room and dining area. The porch area is nice as well. The area felt safe. While we weren't there to take advantage of Louisville, the drive into the city is easy. The owner is very responsive, understanding, and easy to work with. She recommended Agave and Rye for food, and it was seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had. We will absolutely stay there again!

We have enjoyed preparing our house for guests. We love to travel and play golf. The southern Indiana/Louisville area is a great place to live and experience all that the area has to offer.
