The serene landscape which includes a wooded creek surrounded by grazing cattle, ducks, and deer offers a tranquil retreat for those craving a relaxing getaway from the day-to-day hustle & bustle. Here you will enjoy the warm & welcoming living area, a fully equipped kitchen with Lacanche range, and a newly converted 1870s cabin into the Master Suite in addition to 3 additional cozy bedrooms that are each unique in their own way - this farmhouse is the epitome of rustic charm.
Hike, fish or explore the 180+ acres along the Colorado River. This property is close to Ellinger, Fayetteville, Columbus, LaGrange and Round Top - halfway between Austin and Houston.

From the second we pulled up, we knew the place was special. It was such a treat to stay here. The house & landscape are stunning, every thoughtful detail and need is covered, quiet/safe, beyond comfortable, and very conveniently located to the nearby towns. We all left relaxed, recharged, and with a renewed appreciation of the land, taking time to slow down, and just be with friends & family. So grateful to our generous hosts for opening up this heaven on earth! Just book it, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely Beautiful home & property

The house is fabulous! It’s very comfortable, extremely stylish and well equipped. The property is stunning and creates a perfectly relaxing setting for any getaway. The layout of the house is perfect for friends and families to enjoy each other and still have their own space. The host were so friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to leave!!
