The best stay!

We rented this for several of our friends to enjoy a week away in the mountains. It was the best house. Many things to do, ample parking and just a wonderful time. We can’t wait to come back soon!

A beautiful space with an excellent Mountain View. Lots of space for everyone to spread out or be together. We couldn’t get the heated floors to work or the gas logs, so some instruction for those would have been helpful. But otherwise an excellent stay.

Family weekend

We had family meet here from 4 different states! There were plenty of hiking and the recreation center for sports nearby. It was a great house with lots of different places to gather. The view from the porch was fantastic!! What a great house for a summer getaway!

40th Birthday

We enjoyed our weekend for a 40th birthday celebration. The weekend was about bonding and enjoying each other's company and this cabin was perfect for that. We had enough space to spread out and plenty of space when we gathered together in one room. The Christmas decorations are a beautiful bonus. Beds were also super comfortable. Great rental.

Family Vacation in the Mountains

This cabin is perfect for big families. Plenty of room to spread out for everyone. Kitchen is very well stocked. View is breathtaking. There is lots of seating for large families. The only recommendations I have would be to chose between either the ping pong table or pool table. They are too close together and you can’t play one without bumping into the other. Also, second master needs closet. There is one but it’s locked. No where to hang your clothes is a problem for some. The cabin is so nice but it is really along ways from most attractions. It would be awesome during ski season.

Only two minor issues, otherwise fantastic. 1. Someone had spilled something in the oven. I do not think it was us, but maybe. Anyway, this smoked and tripped the smoke alarm. After this, we were reluctant to try any use of the oven. I did try to clean it. 2. The door on the main living area to the patio has a latch that is not working. We tried, but could not get it to latch. We loved the cabin!

Lovely retreat for a large group to enjoy

We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We had ages 12-73 in our group and all really enjoyed the property. We had plenty of space to spread out when we wanted to or be together for meals, games and socializing in the evenings. The pool and ping pong tables were a big hit. The deck furniture is lovely and the views are spectacular. Nice big paved driveway. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. Appreciate that all the light switches were labeled. The property mgmt company was very responsive and helpful! Loved this home’s proximity to Beech Mountain restaurants and wonderful hiking trails! A few notes for future guests - listing says there is a 10 cup coffee maker but it’s a kuerig. So we brought the wrong type of coffee. Lol. There were no wine glasses so we bought 4 and left those at the house for future guests. Many of the closets in the house are locked so we didn’t have a place to hang clothes in the bedrooms in the basement or in one of the bedrooms on the main level. We would definitely rent this home again if we travel with a larger group. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Filthy Large Cabin

The property itself has wonderful views and is a beautiful home. It is quite spacious for a large group of guests. However, if you intend to rent this property, prepare to bring along your own housekeeping staff. We entered the home and the floors and carpets were dirty, the bedsheets had food remnants, offensive body odor, sand, and God knows what body fluids, neatly tucked under big comforters. Dirty sheets from previous guests were not changed! There was also urine on the carpet next to the pool table. We rented this cabin for 3 days and the rental company would not bring clean sheets or send cleaners to vacuum and sweep the floors, Even after numerous calls were made to complain about the cleanliness of the home, over the expanse of our 3 day stay, no one came to the home to clean. I was accused of lying and was told the cleaners had come to clean Carolina Cabin Rental Agency is a pathetic excuse for a property rental agency!! Steer clear of them at all costs!!!! Owners of this beautiful property-PLEASE consider obtaining a new rental agency as your gorgeous home was definitely not rented in the pristine manner you intended it to be!

Hi Pam We are terribly sorry that you feel this way. All of our linens and bedding are replaced between each rental. All of our linens are washed and sanitized using the very latest in commercial laundry applications. All sheets are sanitized both chemically and using extreme hot water. Pam we did go back out at your request and address everything you had mentioned in our initial correspondence. The issue was you wanted them to come back again and do more cleaning later in the day. You were told that the cleaner could not make that happen. Later you reported that the sheets were dirty as well. We addressed that as well and dropped off new linens for all the beds. Pam we tried our very best to accommodate your demands, we host over ten thousand reservations annually. We are very good at what we do and our staff is extremely motivated to please and deliver the very best experience possible, sadly despite our very best attempts it became apparent that this was going to be a challenge with your stay. We are disappointed that despite our repeated attempts we were never going to satisfy you. We wish you well in your future searches for homes in the high country using other services.
