This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 12 adult guests (16 with children), with thoughtfully designed spaces that allow everyone to gather together — or enjoy quiet moments of their own. Coastal colors, natural light, and multiple seating areas throughout the home create a relaxed, beach-house vibe you’ll instantly settle into.
Outside, the large private pool (heat available seasonally for an additional fee) is surrounded by ample lounging space — perfect for soaking up the South Carolina sun while the kids play nearby. If the beach is calling, your private walkway takes you straight to the sand where days are filled with sunshine, salt air, and endless memories.
With amazing ocean views from nearly every corner of the home — whether you’re sipping coffee in bed, lounging on the sundeck, or sharing meals with loved ones — the sights and sounds of the Atlantic are always right there.

We are a homeschooling family of 3. We are local to the Grand Strand but LOVE traveling every chance we get. Some of our favorite adventures include hiking Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, swimming with manta rays and shake sharks in the Maldives, hiking glaciers in Iceland, and traveling throughout the US in our RV.
Ged is a retired school teacher and Danielle is a paralegal. We have been vacation rental hosts for more than 10 years now and truly enjoy creating spaces and experiences for guests to enjoy year after year.

Why they chose this property
We love Surfside Beach because it’s calmer, walkable, and feels like a real beach town — not a commercialized resort strip. It’s often called “The Family Beach,” and that fits. The beaches are wide and less crowded, nights are chill but fun, and everything you need is close without feeling too busy.
The pier is the center of town and one of our favorite spots for morning walks, fishing, or grabbing a bite. There are plenty of locally owned restaurants and ice cream shops you can walk to, which makes it easy to park the car and settle in. Riding around in a golf cart is a favorite pasttime and convenient way to get around.
Surfside is close to Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and area golf courses, but we love that we can enjoy those during the day and come back to a quieter place in the evening. It’s the kind of town where kids ride bikes, people wave, and families come back year after year.
The pier is the center of town and one of our favorite spots for morning walks, fishing, or grabbing a bite. The house is elevated and two stories, which means the views are wide and open, and the layout works well for families and groups. Everyone has space, and each bedroom has its own bathroom, so no one feels on top of each other.
Location-wise, we’re close enough to walk to the pier, restaurants, and shops, but far enough that it still feels peaceful. You can park the car, settle in, and actually enjoy being here.
We also designed the home with real families in mind — from the bunk room setup to the highchair and pack ’n plays — so traveling with kids is easier. At the same time, it’s comfortable and calm enough for adults to relax, whether that’s poolside, on the deck, or watching the ocean roll in.
