House is great. Well taken care of. Downstairs bed was on the uncomfortable side for me, I slept on the couch last couple nights. Fans in the closet were a huge help. Kitchen has everything you could think of. Bathrooms are all very nice and updated. We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay near Tahoe City

The house was a perfect size and location for our visit to the Tahoe City area. Near trails and the lake was ideal for our short weekend escape to the area.

Very clean and cosy home. The place is very relaxing and has everything you need.The kitchen is well equipped. It has everything you can think of, it even has an egg slicer!I would definitely come to this place again and would recommend it for everyone to I know.

Awesome place to stay

Everything was wonderful at this cabin. I appreciated it being very clean, being well stocked with amenities and being comfortable. It was warm and cozy and they even supplied wood for the fireplace. Neighborhood was nice for our walks. Would definitely stay here again. Absolutely no problems during our stay.

Great getaway close to Tahoe City

Great stay at Kay's retreat. The property is very new, and it was very clean. Our family (2 adults, and three teens) had a great time. The living room has a great TV, which was great for us to relax after a day of skying.

We didn't spend much time in the house, pretty much just to shower and sleep. The place was quiet and clean. We didn't use any of the amenities. It met our needs. We'd stay there again.

Excellent Property

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was really clean and had all necessities we needed, even a crockpot for my roast. It was me, my husband, kids 17 & 20, our dog. We were not too far from Diamond Peak Resort for our boys to go snowboarding.

Kay’s retreat

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay at Kay’s retreat. We stayed with our aunt and uncle and the downstairs worked perfectly for them to have their own privacy. The location was great for us to go to a family wedding in Reno and enjoy all Tahoe has to offer. So easy to head into Tahoe City for anything you might need. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean, spacious, and cozy all at the same time. Everything is very new and as seen on the pictures. I would definitely recommend this place and will be booking here in the future. :) The only downside was that it didn’t have many restaurants near by, so be sure to take groceries.

Great Taho Getaway

Kay's Retreat was a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend. Close to mountain biking trails (a short pedal up the hill) and only a 5 minute drive to Skylandia Beach where we took out the paddleboards. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook a nice meal. The garage was a little small to park our car, but great to store bikes & boards. We really appreciated the very informative notebook that included the history of Tahoe and things to do. We'd stay there again!

What a great stay!

First family vacation to Lake Tahoe and it was amazing. I'm still dreaming about that lake. The house was clean and beautiful. Beds and sheets were super comfy. I need to know where you got those sheets. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us. We are definitely talking about a return trip. Thank you so much.

This place is the best rental property I've been so far. When we reserved a property we dont always get what we expected. This one is beyond my expectation. The whole house was upgraded, well kept and complete. I definitely would come back and reserve this property again.

Fantastic Home

Pretty much everything is new or mint condition. All appliances worked as expected. Location is nice, close to grocery stores, pharmacy, rentals (skiing bicycles, etc. ). I have a Ford Explorer which is difficult to get into the garage, though I parked outside with no hassle.

Decent Family Rental

This property is great in a lot of ways and accurately described. We really loved the helpful notebook with local details. The property does get incredibly hot during the day, partially due to no shades on the East side of the house. Carpet is also very much in need of replacing. However, those are really the only “complaints” - everything else was what we expected!
