Perfect spot for our weekend and very accommodating for our service dogs. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Leadville. Every detail was accounted for in the house. Checkout process was a breeze. Thank you very much for a great stay!
Perfect rental and location for exploring Leadville and the surrounding area. The house is about a 5-minute walk from the main street with shops and restaurants. Travis, our host, was very responsive and accommodating to all our questions and requests. We would love to stay here again the next time we are in Leadville.
Great spot, very nicely updated, everything you could need, super cute and unique, I really can't think of anything to improve on. It was larger inside and in the rooms than the pictures make it look, I was surprised at how spacious it was, given that it is an older place. Maybe if it wasn't noted, that there are inside steps between some of the rooms, certainly not a problem for us, but if anyone has mobility issues might be a challenge. We absolutely loved the place and would stay here again.
The cottage was exactly as described—comfortable, charming, and full of nostalgic character. Travis was an excellent host, very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. He even recommended great places nearby where our pups could swim and play off leash, which we really appreciated. We also loved having a dog park just two short blocks away, and the fenced yard worked perfectly for our dogs. The only suggestion I would make is to provide a fan for guests, as there isn't air conditioning. It was a bit warm at night, and I didn't sleep as well as I had hoped. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this cottage to others, especially those traveling with dogs.
