The host was really great from start to finish! The cabin was meticulously clean and inviting. The cupboards were well stocked with every kind of glasses and cups, utensils, dinnerware and cookware. It was a pretty cabin with plenty of porches and a screened in area that would be great in the spring and summer. It was also convenient to everything. We enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful vacation we needed

We stayed for a week in this cozy cabin. Easy entrance into the Smoky Mountain National Park, with very little traffic. The host’s attention to detail was perfect and made for a relaxing vacation. The cabin was close to really great restaurants and grocery stores. Highlight was watching bears walk by the cabin in the evening. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Back for a second year

This was our second visit to Mountain Rest and I’m in the process of making another reservation for next year. It may be the cleanest place we have ever rented and it’s situated nicely in the woods.

Location to all activities was perfect. Cabin was clean and well equipped and organized. 2nd bedroom was a little inconvenient since you had to go through master bedroom to get it.

Thanks for staying with us! Just to clear up any confusion….you can also enter the second bedroom from its own outside entrance WITHOUT having to go thru the master. ❤️

Very clean and kitchen supplied with plenty of cooking equipment and dishware. Loved the gas log and porch. Layout of cabin was a bit awkward as you have to walk through master bedroom and bathroom to get to second bathroom, but it worked ok for us. Our stay did not include a winery experience.

Thanks for your kind words and we are so glad you enjoyed Mountain Dreams! ❤️ Just for clarification tho you can use the outside entrance and access the second bedroom and bathroom WITHOUT having to enter the master. We have two entrances to the cabin. Im not sure what the winery comment- means ?? we don’t advertise or offer a winery experience.

This cabin is SO cozy and beautifully maintained! The owners and manager are so very friendly and accommodating, ready to help in any way if they are needed (even though we had no issues). Such a great week!
