The cabin is lovely. We enjoyed our stay. It would be 5 stars if the lighting is better. But overall, we love the cabin and will definitely rebook it again if come back.
Jo was an amazing host! The cabin was very welcoming and cozy. It was very clean and provided plenty of space to relax and enjoy our trip. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. The city of Townsend had plenty to offer to keep us from going to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We are looking forward to staying here again next year!
We loved the cabin. Enough room for me and my husband and my baby girl and my son in law and my 2 grandbabies.kitchen was nice with enough room for both me and my daughter to be in there. We loved the fireplace we used it when it was a cold outside with out turning the heat up. We got to rest and enjoy the family time. Still close enough to all the activities and restaurants. We did try Jimbob in Townsend which was good.
Was an amazing stay. Cabin very clean everything stocked just as listed. Had to contact property owner to ask simple question (our showers operate different) and they got back to us so fast! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet family get away in a cute cozy cabin
Prompt reply from host at check in. Very clean and comfortable home with everything needed for the week. Clear and minimal checkout procedures. Quiet location in a very nice community.
Super clean and very cozy cabin in a quiet area of Townsend. Loved having a screened in porch and the recliners were great for relaxing after a day of hiking.
The place was clean and very inviting. Located on a quiet road was very refreshing from the "go" of every day life. The host was very responsive, informative and polite.
The cabin was great! We had a couple of issues though. If you don’t keep the upstairs shower liner INSIDE the tub at all times it will start leaking into the kitchen downstairs. We were told it was common in cabins. We have stayed in SEVERAL cabins with many teenagers before and NEVER had that problem. As for the queen bed in the downstairs bedroom it needs replacing. The mattress doesn’t seem to fit the bed frame and it was hard as a rock. One corner of the mattress would slip out of the frame while just laying on it. We were told there would be extra garbage bags but never found them. I messaged the owner and she said they were in the cabinet under the sink. They were not. She just said, “That’s odd.” The upstairs bedroom door is hard to close and open. It sticks badly. On the upside we got to see a mama bear and her two cubs. We had to wait til they went around the cabin and back into the woods before we could get out of our car.

Thanks for staying with us! Sorry it was not a perfect fit just for you - as you know folks have their own opinions of bedding options so what is bad for you may be great for another. Had you messaged me prior to leaving the cabin about needing more trash bags I would have gladly dropped some by- as I mentioned in my welcome letter and welcome note at the cabin- please let me know if you need anything at all - I’m in the area every single day. It’s a shame these things ruined your visit to our fantastic family friendly cabin, we could have likely helped if we had known before your departure. Wishing you much success in finding the perfect cabin for your next visit to our incredible town !
The beds were not comfortable at all especially the bed downstairs. The cabin needs better lighting. The small lamps on nightstands were not enough light for reading. Water pressure in showers was great.
The cabin was so nice and Jo, the property manager, went out of her way to answer questions we had including a visit to the cabin. The location was wonderful for our visit to Cade’s Cove.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jo was easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. Plenty of hot water!

Hi! My name is Jo Carpenter, and I am so happy to meet you! I have been managing properties since 2015 and absolutely love it and my customers! I sorta stumbled into this profession after leaving "corporate America" and venturing out into the unknown with my wonderful husband and business partner - but I must say I wouldn't trade it for a minute! A good day for me is a satisfied and happy guest! A great day for me is a return guest! I will do anything I possibly can to help you make your stay with us one for the memory books! If you are celebrating something special - please reach out and let me know how I can help you make it fabulous! If you need groceries picked up from Kroger and delivered to the cabin before your arrival - please let me know. We want to earn your business and your trust. I am local and very responsive - I can be reached anytime by phone or the VRBO app. I am a short 20-minute drive to the cabin and I am typically in the area every single day. I hope you have an incredible stay with us and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
