Great place with lovely amenities. Updates throughout the house. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful backyard and back porch. And Erie cooperated so we got to see the Total Eclipse!!!
Property was exactly as advertised, with everything that you could need at your finger tips. The house and game room were very clean and fully furnished. AC worker great through the HOT summer days.
Like-new, very clean property. The game room on the garage was a huge hit. The host had several games set up along with numerous board games and things for kids to do in the drawers in the garage. We took a long weekend with our kids and grandkids and had a great time! Very close to the lake, the zoo, children’s museum.
This is my second time booking this property. It’s the best rental I’ve ever stayed in! The host has been amazing both times! There is a beautiful garage that has enough entertainment to last days if not weeks without getting bored. The kitchen is well equipped with essentially everything you can think of the make a complete home cooked meal. The property is spotless and even better in person than the pictures! I can’t wait to come back for a third time hopefully this summer!!!
11 guys have been going on a fall fishing trip for several years and always chose a different location. We chose Presque Isle this year and landed in The Gathering Place for two days. We were all super impressed. After a long day of fishing on Saturday, we enjoyed the comfortable layout of the garage/rec area and watched multiple football games while playing pool. Clean and easy check in and check out process. Would make the decision to stay again 10 out of 10 times.
This property is exceptional. Everything you would expect and more. The communication with the host was great. She even warned us of road construction taking place on the day of our arrival to allow us to plan ahead. The checkin/checkout process couldn’t be easier. The home itself is gorgeous inside and out but the best part may be the “garage”. We were in town for an event but most of our time at the property was spent in the garage. Lots of attention to small details makes this place feel very welcoming and inviting. Cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend. 5 stars +!
For the most part, the house is beautiful. The only thing is the beds are extremely too high not everyone is 6ft!! My mother had to sleep on the couch because she could not get into any of the beds and a pull out is not comfortable so that was not gonna work. half of the games in the game room don’t work you couldn’t even get the balls to come back down out of the ski ball, also, it would be nice to have butter knives as I cut my finger just putting butter on a toast because those knives are very sharp. Part of the house slants and you can fill it when you walk as well as the patio is not flat it has a slant to it as well.
