Amazing location and beautiful condo
We loved staying at Golden Poles. Super cute 2 bed / 2 bath with fire place, large kitchen, and deck. Kids liked the bunk beds. I like the underground parking. Lots of games to play and kitchenware. Washer and dryer helped with sweaty ski clothes. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!!!

Great newer condo, perfect for our family
We loved staying at Carrie's condo. The indoor parking was extra nice when it snowed and we didn't have to shovel at all. The kitchen is well stocked. The kids room is small, but efficient for sleeping. We loved playing the games provided and the generous living space. The only bummer was that the pool was unexpectedly closed, but we hear it should be opening back up and we came to a resolution with Carrie.

Super comfortable condo in a great location
Our family of four were super comfortable in this condo for our six night ski vacation. We loved the comfortable accommodations after long days of skiing. The condo was perfectly located close to several ski resorts, allowing us to visit Ski Bowl, Mt. Hood Meadows, and Timberline. We even ventured to Bend (2 hours away) for an awesome day of skiing at Mt. Bachelor. We enjoyed the ability to rent equipment at Mt. Hood Outfitters and walk to dinner, all centrally located in Government Camp. Carrie was super responsive and gave us great advice for skiing. As a family who typically visits Colorado for Spring Break skiing, this was a wonderful alternative. We look forward to coming back in the summer for biking and hiking.

About the host

Welcome! We are a mountain-obsessed Portland family who loves sharing our Govy getaway with guests. We're avid skiers, mountain bikers, hikers and love to fish and get out into the wilderness. When we're not enjoying our cabin, we're probably out exploring nature in our RV.

Why they chose this property

We love our condo. The location can't be beat - walk across the bridge to Govy bars and restaurants, walk to Ski Bowl for skiing/snowboarding in the winter or the alpine slide in the summer. We love the view of the wilderness area behind the building and watching the skiers come down the mountain.

What makes this property unique

The Golden Poles is one of the newest buildings in Government Camp. Enjoy our very well stocked unit with plenty of towels and extra bedding, pantry staples and a Keurig. We're also serious about comfortable beds (squishy rental beds are the worst!), and think you'll love our new primary mattress and the top-quality murphy bed in the living room.
