It was an amazing place to stay. The creek and outdoor area is so peaceful. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I. Coopers creek trout farm at the top of the road was cool too.

The chemicals in the hot tub were a little too spicy, but other than that it was a gorgeous place!

This is a beautiful property. Very serene and calm. You will have everything that you need. The host communicates very well, the property is very clean and nicely laid out. Hot tub is on the back deck and secluded and you can listen to the creek there or at the fire pit.

If you're looking for a quiet, secluded cabin with all the essentials, this place is the one! We spent a great deal of our stay relaxing by the fire pit, swimming and fishing in the creek and just simply enjoying the peacefulness of the wooded area surrounding the cabin. We would love to stay here again when we return to the area!

We loved our stay at this peaceful cabin! It is just minutes away from the Polar Express train ride and downtown. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our visit to the area. We’re already planning our next trip in the spring.

We so enjoyed our two days at A Nook on Cooper Creek. Its cozy cottage size and feel were just right for the Hubs and me. It was a good location for our afternoon drives to Cherokee. Our fave thing was sitting by the fire and listening to the sounds of the creek.

About the host
Hosted by Matt & Joanne Stermer
We live on a farm in Georgia and fell in love with Bryson City 11 years ago. We would camp and ride our horses here every year.
We purchased 2 cabins next door to each other and completely remodeled them ourselves. We love the outdoors and you will find nature is the heart of our cabins.
Matt and I love people and decided to share our family cabins and become hosts. It is our goal to make each guest's stay a memorable one.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood that "A Nook" is located in, is wonderful its really a relaxing place to be! Coopers Creek Road follows the creek all the way to the end of the road where a trout farm is. Our cabin sits right on the creek!
What makes this property unique
The creek makes our property unique! You can sit and watch the creek flow from either the large outside deck, the living room, or even from the master bedroom. Top off the night with a nice glass of wine, or roast smores over the fire pit. At our cabin you will not only enjoy the amazing views and the melodies of nature, but also unwind to the sound of the creek that is flowing right behind the cabin.
