We had a fabulous time at this property on the Cape. Perfect location and property had everything you need. This was our 2nd time staying there and we hope to stay again same time next year!
The house is as listed. Location is great to get to beach, pool, biking/walking path. The home is clean but floors do seem dated, kitchen sink is stained. I would absolutely recommend this home to families looking to unplug from busy beaches and be in a more calm/family setting. We had a great time!
This was our first time staying at Cape San Blas & it did not disappoint. We had a couple of rainy afternoons but otherwise the weather was great. The townhouse was clean and comfortable with all the needed amenities. We had plenty of space for our 3 families with room for the children to play while adults enjoyed relaxing time together. We cooked all meals except pizza night & the kitchen provided everything needed. The different levels & stairs were a challenge but was good exercise! We used the elevator often & were thankful to have it. Overall a great place to stay.
This was our first trip to the cape and we will definitely be back. The location of this property is perfect, especially with young children. The ice machine is a great addition, as well as the carport fridge. Ohh and I can’t forget to mention the beach wagon. That is so helpful when you have toddlers with you.
We had the most amazing week with the family! The condo had everything we could ever ask for and more! The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and it had great views. I can’t think of one thing that could have made it any better. We will definitely be going back! Thank you to our hostess for being so accommodating.
We had a short getaway. The property is beautiful and the host was very responsive. Its close to the beach and really set up great for guests.Just a few suggestions for the host:- door code didn't work on the front door so check on that / let future guests know. We got in late and took a moment to figure out there was another door inside the carport area- include a list of things to do for check out. We just did what we usually do (e.g. empty garbages) but others might not.- include a liat of things to do / restaurants to try. If it was there I apologize...I didn't see it but truthfully didn't spend a ton of time searching for it either. We weren't there long at all so a few curated suggestions would have been helpful- include a few additional games for the guests - board or card games. This is all super nitpicky because everything was great. I think it could make the place even better.
Great property! Pictures and decription are accurate. Great location within Sea Cliffs. The sceened-in porches are amazing for relaxing outside.
Owners are exceptional and very helpful.
Would definitely stay here again and highly recommennd this rental!
We’re all family. We had a FULL HOUSE. Ages 5 months to 59. We had everything we needed in the house and the property manager was on top of communication and so helpful before we ever arrived. From the house, pool to the ocean (so thankful for no stairs to the beach), everything was perfect. This was everyone’s first time to Cape San Blas and we can not wait to return. Away from the hustle and bustle and all the touristy cliches, we found peace and relaxation like we all so badly needed. If peace and nature are on your list, this is the place for you!
We love being at the end of the cape.
Pool is super convenient and sooo close
Beach has the best access with a new ramp
No lugging our stuff down stairs !
Excellent location, close to pool and beach. Awesome playground and field for the little kids. The condo itself was set up perfectly for two families and kids, was well stocked and had all that we needed for cooking all of our meals. Property mgr was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Can't wait to book this property again next summer!
We really enjoyed our family beach trip to Cape San Blast. The location was great. Easy access to beach & pool. Our only issue was problems with the elevator not working. Our host, Jessica, called the repairman & he came 3 times to fix the problem, but it would quit working after he left. Also there was limited parking available onsite. Jessica is a great host, anytime I called she was quick to respond.
Our extended family of 10 loved every minute of our stay! The house was clean and comfortable and has beautiful views of the ocean. Both the pool and beach are easy to access. The pool was clean and large enough for the community. The house has a lot of stairs, but the elevator makes it easy to send up all your luggage, etc. The hosts provided quick and thorough responses to all of our questions. We loved being at this end of the cape and so close to the State Park for our pontoon rental day.
Both Jessica and her husband were very diligent in monitoring their listing. Every time I had a question they answered immediately. Their Home definitely offered everything we needed. There was just a couple minor cleaning issues that didn’t really affect our stay. We realize how hard it is to find good help, and the turn over time doesn’t always allow for excellence. It was a great condo complex. Easy pool and beach access. It’s a corner unit so you can see ocean views from the front, back and side. It’s definitely a great find!
Jessica is very responsive to emails and questions, however not very effective at fixing issues while you’re staying. When we first arrived, the listing says it’s the last unit closest to the beach. It’s not. It’s the second to last unit before you get to the beach. As for the home itself, it’s a nice unit with plenty of space. We loved our stay however there were two issues that we never could get fixed by the owner. When we got there the refrigerator was like warm. This was with nothing in it. We put 400 worth of groceries into the refrigerator thinking it will get cold once items are in. We gave it till the next mornings and everything was room temp. I contacted the owner to express that this needed to be fixed. Our stay was 7 days. It was never fixed throughout our entire stay. Needless to say we needed up throwing out close to $300 in groceries. Thank goodness we brought 5 large yeti style coolers with us because if we had not, the trip would have been over. The other issues is the internet goes out and shuts off every night at 12:18AM. It will not turn back on until
You go in the first bedroom on the third floor and reset the router and network. Overall we prolly won’t be staying back at this place unless these issues are resolved.
We decided to get away from the 30A madness and tried Cape San Blas. What a wonderful decision! The beaches are beautiful and almost private. The condo was lovely... four stories, but we used the elevator for luggage trips and groceries. Clean. Had everything we needed. It was a bit chilly in March for the pool which is not heated, but the property was great. A few short steps to the beach. We rented and rode bikes to the market and local restaurants. Also drove over to Port St. Joe a few times for fabulous meals and shopping fun. Only suggestion would be beach towels, chairs, umbrella. There are no towels at the condo and for people flying in, beach towels take up too much room in a suitcase! Would have been great to have some to use. The beach chairs at the condo are in bad shape, some are unusable. We ended up using a local service to set up beach chairs, tent, towels, etc. which was a fantastic treat.
This place was amazing. The walk to the beach was great. We have a child in a wheelchair, so the ramp to the beach with no stairs was great. The place had everything we needed. I would stay here again for sure.
We are from a small town outside St. Louis called Beaufort. We started hosting back in 2007 at The Lake of the Ozarks. Then we ventured into Hermann, the wine country of Missouri. We have always vacationed here at the Cape so we decided why not have a short-term rental at our favorite vacation spot.
Why they chose this property
We have been bringing our family to the Cape since 2011. Once we found this quiet, beautiful spot, we just kept coming back every year since. The Cape is a great place to destress from everyday life.
What makes this property unique
We have been hosting for nearly 20 years. We have learned a lot, and we strive to give our guests a 5-star experience. We are hands on owners and manage our homes ourselves so we can make sure you enjoy every bit of your time at our home.
