We loved the house, very open and homey. Loved the location. Near my nephew and close to all activities we had planned. Hiking, waterfalls, tubing, riding Spyder trikes on parkway and Tail of Dragon, shopping, mining, and eating at cool restaurants and stores. Touring Cherokee. Loved everything about the house and look forward to renting this house again. Very centrally located
The cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything was in new condition. Lots of room in the yard for the kids to run and play.
Amber thought of everything to make our stay convenient and enjoyable, she even left little toys for the kids such as glow sticks, and balls outside.
Smoky Top cabin in Whittier, NC is a must-visit for families. This cabin nestled in the stunning Smoky Mountains provided an unforgettable experience for us. With spacious accommodations, including three bedrooms, we had plenty of room to relax. The highlight for the kids was the exciting lofted sleeping area, adding a touch of adventure. The breathtaking views created a magical atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen and cozy living area were perfect for family bonding. The hosts were attentive and made us feel welcome. Our kids especially loved the swing hanging from the tree. Smoky Top cabin is the ideal destination for an incredible family vacation filled with cherished memories.

We stayed here for my son’s graduation from Western Carolina University, and it could not have been a more perfect choice. The location is ideal — super close to Dillsboro and Sylva for everyday convenience, and less than 25 minutes from WCU, Bryson City, and Cherokee.
The layout of the home is fantastic, especially for families or multiple couples. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms downstairs, plus a loft with a queen bed, bunk beds, and a half bath. It provided plenty of space and privacy for everyone, including kids.
The décor was beautiful, and the Christmas decorations were truly the icing on the cake — don’t hesitate to book this place during the holidays if you get the chance! Eric and Amber have truly thought of everything when it comes to amenities.
And the view… absolutely gorgeous — peaceful mountain scenery while still being conveniently located. The driveway and entrance were about as good as it gets for a mountain home. My dad drives a 1-ton long-bed truck, and while the turn was a bit tight, we had no issues at all with an SUV pulling a U-Haul.
It was cold during our stay, so we didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit or yard games, but those would be a huge bonus in warmer months. Communication before and during the trip was excellent — Amber was incredibly responsive and answered all of my questions and concerns quickly.
Eric and Amber truly go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again and
