About this property

A cozy, woodsy retreat a mile from the Southwest Harbor village & Acadia trials.

This cabin-like house is bursting with character, with its open ceiling and wood beams, nautical teak ladder to a large loft, and a location nestled in woods of spruce and fir. It's only 2 miles to the village, most of Acadia's "quietside" trailheads, and the very best swimming spot on the island. Good internet and dedicated workspace in the loft make this a great option for those seeking to work remotely in a beautiful place for the summer, or for any couple looking for a cozy getaway.

I am a cartographer and piano teacher. My cartography work includes mapping trails across the great State of Maine, but the most special trails for me remain those in my home of Acadia National Park - I even published a kids hiking guide for Acadia! I am happy to provide trail recommendations to those who choose to stay at my lovely home.
