We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. We really liked that we could walk into Southwest Harbor and enjoyed the quieter side of the island.
Very nice, clean room positioned for a harbor overlook in Southwest Harbor. The room has very nice accommodations, a fully furnished kitchen, adequate reserved off street parking, washer and dryer, and within walking distance of restaurants. Great place to stay. Would definitely stay again!
The condo was comfortable and conveniently located. The book of recommended restaurants, hikes, & activities was particularly helpful! Thanks for a great stay!
The property was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. The owners provided excellent background information about Southwest Harbor and Acadia National Park, along with information about the owners and guidelines regarding check-in and checkout. After being very active during the day, we found the property to be very comfortable and relaxing each evening.
This condo was a real gem! Everything you might need is provided including information about places to see and nearby restaurants . The space was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed every moment and would come back again in a heartbeat. It was nice to have off street parking and laundry as well.
The unit was clean and the kitchen well equipped. The unit is close to town stores and restaurants, with plenty of parking. The owner was responsive and easy to work with.
We loved staying here for the past two days. It was a great location. Away from the crowds. This is a first floor living area and bed room with everything you need. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Nice restaurants nearby. Great host. Thanks for everything.
Rooms were clean. Host was very hospitable. Answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The guest book was very well done. Good parkingKitchen OKAccess to town was close A bit noisy from Rt. 102 traffic, that being said access by car to all of the sites were very good.
Was a perfect place to stay! We were so happy to find a place with a washer and dryer so we could enjoy our long trip without a laundry mat. It was right down town of Southwest Harbor which made it super convenient for coming and going while visiting Acadia.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Southwest Harbor. It's the perfect size for a small family and had all the amenities we needed. Ed responded quickly to my questions and his binder full of recommendations was so helpful, especially the local restaurants and hikes! Regarding the traffic noise: it wasn't much of a problem at night, and we found that the window AC unit in the bedroom blocked most of the noise anyway. We were happy we chose the "quiet side" of the island, loved how close it was to everything we wanted to do, and would definitely stay in this apartment again!
We loved staying in Southwest Harbor and heading into Bar Harbor only when we felt like it. Found everything we needed at local markets, bakeries, pharmacy, etc. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s good to know that the property is extremely close to the road, which has continuous traffic night and day. Additionally, the walls are a bit thin—when the guests staying beneath us watched tv every evening, we could hear every word. But a good pair of earplugs for nighttime does the trick. And why would you stay inside when you could be exploring Acadia?! Would definitely use as a base for a return trip to Mt. Desert Island.
The host (Ed) was very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything a couple could need, and the location was great, close to Acadia National Park but far enough to stay out of the tourist crush.
The apartment was perfect for a couple for a few days. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped, short walk into "downtown" and with the bonus of a limited view of the harbor. We were there in April so not much open but can highly recommend Clark Point Cafe for breakfast (and croissants!) The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and even cabinet space for groceries - something often lacking in short term rentals. Easy parking and not far from some of the natural attractions on the quiet side - Acadia mountain, Echo lake etc. The apartment is not large but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
