Beautiful property and location

Heide was an incredible host she is responsive and very kind. The property is fabulous perfect for our large family attending a wedding in Maryland. I needed to change my wedding script and Heide printed the changes for me and delivered to the house in a folder within minutes. Sooo nice of her. Would definitely stay again

Fun & comfy stay with a private beach hideaway

Stayed with extended family for the holiday week. Heide’s place had everything we needed + an awesome private beach which we thoroughly enjoyed with the shared kayaks & paddle boards. Heide was available whenever we needed by text and extremely accommodating. We had a wonderful time here & plan on returning and renting both properties. Don’t forget to order some steamed crabs from the marina - they were DELICIOUS and came with a discount for renters.

We purchased our first home while restoring the business to include a store where the watermen can get their daily bait and supplies needed to work on the water bringing in the bays bountiful harvest of seafood that we all enjoy! We have since moved to the farm house behind the marina and are offering our marina home for you and your family to enjoy. In 2022 we acquired another home "Marina Overlook" on the street which will allow friends/family to book both homes. The families will share the 350' beach.

Why they chose this property

This home is situated a crossed from Kent Point Marina at the Southern most tip of Kent Island. If you enjoy crabbing, fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming - it can all be done from this property. You will enjoy panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay and Eastern Bay from most rooms. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking! One of the most visited spots by photographers for the wonderful view of the bay, Bloody Point Bar Lighthouse and the Eagles! Many options for outdoor entertaining areas including your own 350' beach which is shared with one other VRBO family. Central location allows for day trips to DC, Annapolis, Baltimore, & St. Michaels.

Dine at Knoxie's Table, Harris Crab House, The Narrows, The Fisherman's Inn, The Jetty, Bridges (among many others). Golf at nearby Queenstown Harbor Golf. Bike on the Cross Island Trail. Visit the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center and Terrapin Park or Mattapeake Beach. Take scenic drives to many exciting areas on the Chesapeake Bay including the US Naval Academy in Annapolis (30 minutes) or the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels. Many outlet stores are also nearby in Queenstown. Fishing and Crabbing Trips may be arranged for an additional fee departing right from your front yard! We can help arrange your crab feast or fish fry upon your return!

The home is ideal for family gatherings. Its layout includes a dining area, living area, 3 outdoor deck that overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, a fully stocked kitchen, Master bedroom with King bed and bathroom, and large deck that overlooks the marina and bay, 2nd large bedroom with King bed and access to front deck, 3rd bedroom with Queen size bed, 4th bedroom with twin and laundry on second floor. 3rd floor includes large bedroom with King bed and bath, private deck and adjoining room with twin trundle. What makes this property unique

This property is truly unique in that it is situated on the Chesapeake Bay in front of Bloody Point Lighthouse and Kent Point Marina and some of the "hottest" fishing spots on the bay. You will witness the work of the watermen as the come and go daily with crabs and fish. You are at the southern most tip of the island and have beautiful views of the Chesapeake and Eastern Bays.
