Beautiful experience all the way around! Clean, quaint and well equipped cabin offering the comforts of home with a great view of Horseshoe Lake. Enjoyed our days playing on the water and nights around the bonfire star gazing. Great location to escape with nearby Richmond and Cold Spring for groceries or places to dine. Most Relaxing Stay Ever

We flew up from Texas to get out of the heat and couldn’t be happier with this incredibly lovely A-Frame. Comfy beds, comfy couch, great decor and best of all - right on the water! We fished every day, relaxed, and overall enjoyed our time listening to the birds and watching activity on the lake. Definitely plan in advance to go to the Farmers Market in Richmond if it’s happening during your stay; best produce and meats/cheeses. If we lived closer, this would be a repeat destination often!

Couple’s Getaway at a Cozy Retro Cabin

Hubby and I were long overdo for a getaway. A last minute decision had us looking for a cozy weekend cabin and this place fit the bill. We were delighted with this little retro A-Frame! My husband loves retro style and I am happy with anything cozy. This place suited both of our tastes. We loved watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning and sipping coffee on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the stars in the evening with the woodstove burning. There were a number of water activities to choose from too. We took the canoe out a few times and enjoyed that. Ultimately this is a great place to stay whether you are looking to stay in with a beautiful view or spend time out on the water. Would stay again!
