Every moment at A Hygge Hus is an opportunity to create treasured memories away from it all, from fireside gatherings at the fire pit to lazy days spent swimming and kayaking off the floating dock. Hygge is the Danish word that embodies the concept of finding joy in simple pleasures, to be cozy and content. It’s about unwinding, escaping the daily rush and spending time with loved ones. This cherished family cabin has always been that place for us, and we are so thrilled to share it with you. We hope that you will also find it a place of contentment!

Boasting 3 bedrooms and a spacious loft, this inviting home offers plenty of room for family and friends. Enjoy the convenience of 2 modern bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen designed for delightful culinary experiences. There is even a small desk in one of the rooms in the event you need to work from the cabin.

A spiral staircase adds a touch of whimsy, leading you to different levels of this fully remodeled A-Frame. On the main floor you will find a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room complete with a stone wood fireplace. Huge double patio doors lead out to a spacious deck overlooking the water.

Going up to the loft you will find three twin beds and a full-sized futon. From the loft you will get amazing lake views!

On the lower level you will find a walk out leading down to the lake along with two bedrooms. One bedroom is appointed with a queen bed and the other contains two twin beds and a full-sized bed along with a small desk for any work needs. On this level you can also play a game of pool or enjoy a movie night with the 55" smart tv. Rain or shine you will have fun at A Hygge Hüs!

Revel in breathtaking views from the expansive windows and unwind by the fire pit under the starry sky. The sunsets at A Hygge Hüs are out of this world, painting the sky in stunning hues each evening, making this lakeside haven an ideal getaway for those seeking a serene escape with a touch of natural wonder.

Area amenities include two golf courses, a lakeside restaurant accessible by boat, trails for walking and so much more! Come see what Cold Spring and Richmond have to offer!

Please note, due to many steps that lead down to the water and the spiral staircase, A Hygge Hüs may not be suitable for young children and those with mobility issues. For those who can navigate the terrain, a floating dock invites you to endless water adventures. A kayak and SUP are on site and available for your use.
