Overall the house is ok. It is not as clean as we want it to be. There were flies all over and the fridge stinks. The floor is uneven so it squeaks most of the time. The other beds was in a separate house so we did not like it as much since we have little kids. The main bedroom has no AC , so it feels so hot

This was a good place for our family and grandkids. The beach area was great and fishing for sunnies off the dock was great!

Great Lake Escape

This property was exactly what we needed in a cabin! Clean, comfortable, well stocked and most of all- ready for us to enjoy! The adults enjoyed some much needed relaxation and plenty of lake time. The kids loved the sandy beach and swimming area, with lily pad and floaties included. The internet was good enough to use for streaming or work emails. We rented the nice pontoon and highly recommend it as well.

End of summer vacation

We chose Cotton Lake as our destination for our final family trip for the summer before our two older kids go/return to college. We had a wonderful relaxing time! The bunkhouse was great for the kids and gave them and us some space ; loved the paddle board /kayaks etc; we spent quality time together in a beautiful setting !! Good communication with the host too; we would do it again !! The Breidenbachs

Nice

Overall we were pleased with booking this house. Even though there are plenty of beds (which is great), living spaces were a bit too small for the number of people that could sleep there. I have a few notes that others may find helpful to know in advance and hopefully can be enhanced for future guests. -Poor outside lighting between the main house and bunk house. We had a few trip upon reaching the deck when walking at night and ended up falling and cutting up their knees. Bring flashlights if you plan to utilize both spaces. (Or extra bandaids) -Beach had a lot of washed up weeds. It doesn’t appear there was much clean up maintained on the beach. We raked ourselves. -Bedroom doors inside the cabin provide no privacy. If you have guests who want to stay up in the living room or kitchen, it’s impossible for others to go to bed as the bedroom doors are slat doors. You can hear everything and all the light shines through. I wish there were real bedroom doors. -Steep hill from parking to the main house, there is no driveway. I wished this was clearer in the photos so we were more prepared for loading and unloading. -Some of the furniture wasn’t in good shape, the couch legs were wobbly, the outside lounge chairs were broken so the backs didn’t stay up, and a counter stool wasn’t level because it was missing a piece on one leg. -Bunkhouse door didn’t lock from keypad. Said it was locked but you could walk right in so it didn’t feel very safe when we left the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The cabin duo was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for relaxing and enjoying beautiful Lake Cotton. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made everything easy and stress-free. They even went the extra mile to help us recover a forgotten children’s stuffy, which meant so much to us. We would happily stay here again!
