Fishing paradise

The location and property was perfect for my family and myself. Having access directly to the atlantic allowing me more time to fish rather than getting to the gulf. Property was very clean and well set up for relaxation. Having the smaller pool was great to cool off after the long days on the water. I would stay here everytime.

June Fishing Trip

The house is nice and well-appointed. It is very clean. We trailered our boat from Texas and were anticipating more beautiful waters at the house. Unfortunately, the sargassum was bad and rotting and smelling like rotten eggs. The water kills everything in the live well. The access from the water is very shallow. We have a 32 foot boat that drafts 2' - 2' 8" depending on the tilt of outboards. We could only get in around high tide. All boats used this route - The deeper route to get in is to the left of the small patch of mangroves as you are coming into the house from open waters. Follow the white poles close. Follow until you are almost at first canal but the poles go off to the right. Make a right turn. Then there is a channel between mangroves. Turn left into that channel and go to the mouth of the second channel. Turn right. There will be cement bulkhead on your left and mangrove on the right. Then you will come to the opening of the third channel and turn left. We made two turns too wide and had to get in and push the boat off the grass. On the first day, my husband drove the trailer to the house and I was in the boat. I couldn't figure out how to get in. He found a neighbor and he talked me in.
