Creek Side Glamper in the Red River Gorge

Creekside luxury glamper, elevated on a platform on rare private property inside the Red River Gorge. Accommodates 2 adults, 2 kids (17 and under) and 1 pet. Kids sleeping mats provided on request. Massive cliffs, giant boulders, surrounded by miles of primitive forest. Short 3-4 minute walk to the Red River. Near hiking trails and world-class climbing. Glamper has power, fridge, microwave, A/C, seasonal heat, coffee maker, toaster, fan, lamps, fire pit w/grate, picnic table and grill. Hot water community shower and new, clean individual occupancy toilets.
The space
Accommodates 2 adults, 2kids, (17 and under), and 1 pet. Large 12x16 elevated glamping tent with a 8' covered porch. Two chairs and a large security box bolted to the deck. We provide locks and keys to the security box. Fire extinguisher on the deck. Windows and doorway have bug screens and zippered closures.

Inside is a dorm fridge, A/C, microwave, toaster, keurig coffee maker, disposable cups/glasses, fan, 2 lamps, 2 stools, ceiling lights, 4 outlets, a queen bed with full linens and a mosquito net. Towels and wash clothes, four high quality pillows, all linens, comforter and a blanket. We supply sugar, creamer, 4 coffee pods and 4 bottles of water. In cooler/colder weather we supply an electric heater.

Outside is a charcoal grill and grill tools (bring charcoal/lighter), fire-pit with cooking grate, table, boulders and/or logs for seating around the fire. No need to buy firewood, lots of deadfall on the ground. Please do not cut standing or green wood. Deck overlooks Duncan Branch, a pristine stream who's peaceful gurgling makes for a great nights sleep. Miles of forest service lands surround you. Big cliffs, boulders, deep forest, streams and world class climbing all within walking distance.

Community hot water shower with good water pressure and separate large wash basin/water point. New, clean, individual occupancy flushing toilets

NOTE: This is a high quality tent with lots of amenities......but it's still a tent. It provides a good balance between camping and hotel living. Other than the well-water shower, wash basin/water point, restrooms and the clean stream, there is no running water supply at the tent. The tent has a fan and is generally shaded, and air-conditioned. The restrooms are new, very clean and well stocked.

What should you bring? Flashlights, lighter, charcoal/lighter fluid, paper plates, disposable spoons/forks, bottled water/drinks, bug spray, and whatever else you think you may need.

Guest access
Guests are provided combination code to a locked gate to access the property. Guests have access to the entirety of the property except the barn, which is locked. You are in the middle of thousands of acres of Forest Service property, go anywhere you like. Walk for miles without seeing anyone.
