Nice Updated house near Venice Bike path

Very nicely updated house in a good location to access bike path along canal. Quiet neighborhood and host good to communicate with. Definately would stay again.

Nice house,

This house was exactly as advertised, clean, all amenities were in order. The only complaint is the water. It smells and is greenish/brown. I think this is typical for Florida. Otherwise, the house was great. Easy check in, easy check out.

Off Island stay

We thought the property was located on the island, just east of the airport, but that was not the case! We probably would not have rented had VRBO let us know specifically where the property was located BEFORE we committed. While we understand that you are trying to protect the property owner, you are are being less than truthful with the prospective renter by obfuscating the location of the property!

Odd smell when we arrived

It looked like the house was not cleaned properly before we checked in. The trashcans were full so we couldn’t even take garbage out. The mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and from when we first got there there were flies and palmetto bugs.

We want to clarify that our cleaning standards are exceptionally high, and we pride ourselves on providing a well-maintained environment. Our cleaning team conducts thorough inspections before each guest's arrival. If there were any concerns upon your check-in, we encourage guests to reach out immediately so we can address them promptly. Regarding the trash, guests are supposed to take out the bins on designated days, especially during longer stays. Unfortunately, this was not followed during your stay, which contributed to the condition of the home upon your departure. We also noted damages and attempted to reach you about this. We appreciate your comments about the mattress and will look into it further, as guest comfort is a priority for us. We are also committed to addressing any pest concerns to ensure our home remains a welcoming space for all.
